I often go to the local hotel restaurant one a Saturday night for a steak meal. I have never had any problems, in fact total acceptance.
Tonight I got there about 7pm. Massive queue, I was told by one of my waitress friends, they had 165 covers. I was in the queue not knowing what to do. Dave the manager came up and said I know I always promised you a table but I have eight tables waiting. I have one special table but you will need to share. OK says I.
So I ended up with a young couple, trying to get pregnant and an elderly man whose wife is dying and in an Nursing home. I could relate.
What a night.
They had never met a Cindy before. I had never met them.
Sue and I just hit it off, her husband Brian was just a pool of laughs and a gorgeous in love fool idiot, I sat with Sue in the loo and we talked about guys and commitment and fear and babies and stuff. We even got the 'Why were you in the loo for so long stare'. Most of female life is discussed in the loo.
Tony the elderly guy just poured it all out, all great, he enjoyed talking and meeting us all. He was totally OK with me.
What a night.
I'm exhausted in a nice way.
Bed calls wish someone was in it
