Ok so like people who are in uni/college or people who know about this, how would i do it.
I haven't started yet, i will be going on there on the 23 September.
Should i just phone them up and ask them to change my name on their system or maybe email them ?
I don't want to arrive there and collect my student card with my old name on it, because i am going full time on the very first day there.
I am legally changing my name tomorrow (its like super easy is the UK, just get a deed poll hehe) but i'm guessing the uni would still change it on their system even if i haven't got the name change documents yet ?

Thanks

You have a few weeks, I would write to the university Registry. A cover letter explaining, along with a copy of your Deed Poll / Stat Dec, maybe a copy of a doctor letter if you have one. Email might work, if there's a field for email address on your original application and it's the same. I wouldn't think a phone call would do.

I think they might want documentation at least for official changes, but I would just call and ask what they want.

i think i will phone up and ask what they need, and if they need the deed poll i will send it to them hehe.

Thanks for your replies girls :)
