Hello everyone my name is Michelle, well my cding name anyway 🙂 My gf got me interested in crossdressing and used to do my make up, however now we are living in different areas. I have all the make up I need foundations, eyeliners, eyeshadows, all kinds but I dont know how to use any of it 😕 I go into the bathroom and i look at the eyeliner and think

"where do i put that brush how much do i use, what if i get in my eye"
"whats foundation for, how do i apply this"

it looks so foreign to me 🙁 Im hoping someone will help a complete beginner who may need a few repeated lessons.  I'd like help either through step by step instructions or a video call if you prefer I just am really desperate for some help. I realize its probably not that difficult I just am a person who learns best with human interaction 🙂 thanks for anyone willing to help me find beauty.

"where do i put that brush?" - If it is a finishing brush.  Dip in finishing powder, tap off excess.  Begin on forehead and brush lightly from the center to the hair line.  Use the same way for the entire face.  I also will light go down the center of the face to smooth out any overlap
"how much do i use?" - Less is more.  Use very little.
"what if i get in my eye?"  - Keep your eyes closed.  It won't hurt you if you do, they will tear some.  Have a tissue close at hand and just dab the tears.
"whats foundation for?" - To even out the color of the skin tone.  Can help cover blemishes.
"how do i apply this?" - Depends on the foundation.  I use Revlon Color stay on days the facial hair is heavier (do to hair growth cycle).  I use a foundation brush.  I cover the moustache and chin kinda heavy and then blend out towards the ears and down the chin to the neck

I use Revlon Color Stay when the hair growth is in a heavy cycle.  I apply it, with a foundation brush, to the moustache area and chin and blend out to very light.  On light days, I use Dinair Airbrush Makeup.  Also check out YouTube for makeup tips from the Drag Queens.  Just go a lot lighter than they do.  They use stage makeup, we use regular makeup.

Remember:

All the big cosmetic companies have websites and they are pretty lush too as you might expect.  Lots of them have tutorials.  And try Makeup.com, its' a goldmine.

Telka is right.  Just do a search for makeup tips or specific things like eyeliner or eye shadow and you will find tons of videos on how to do it.  After that it's just practice, practice, practice.  Cause it's not easy!  They make a makeup corrector pen....It's a must have for me.

You can try getting a makeover with a professional, this will cost some money, if you like what you see, than ask if they give lessons. The other way is buying the make and practice by trial and error.
