Do you thing we have a time of the month? Not like a genetic woman, but just a week of something. Reason I ask is that once a month, usualy at the end I have about a week of this hot flashy thing, and urge to just be as sexy feeling as I can. I really don't think it is mental, as it comes every month pretty regular.

With my monthly thing, I tend to freak out over something.  Usually it only lasts a day or 2, but I go totally crazy and panic.  The next time should be in a little less than 2 weeks.

I don't understand it yet. I kind of go absolutly crazy for about a week. I am nervous. The emotions are running rampedly. All I seam to think of is watching TV and switching channels to find some good looking guy to watch and fantasize. That is what has gotten me into trouble with the last guy I met. Not really trouble, but I did let thing go a little far. I have told him I could not see him anymore.
It is like I just crave the attention!
After that week passes I could care less about anything but the ranch and horses.

Actually yes, everybody has cycles. GG's cycles include menstruation. The addition of HRT will change what type of cycle you will have, example, pre-HRT you might not have noticed anything at all, post-HRT feeling sexy worrying about something etc. could have been increased.

Too funny. I am IS and as I read your post I am doubled over in cramps. Priceless. Mine starts with a day or 2 of foul mood, increased sexual drive followed by hot flashes (minor ones) and then comes the ouchy cramps!! As I said I am true IS and my body reminds me every month!!

Yes I have a period or what ever...  It was noticable pre HRT but nothing to really worry about...  Just some minor "stomach pains" for 5 or 6 days a month....  Then I started HRT and they got worse...  If I go off HRT for what ever reason... <low on funds and out or when I actualy stopped purposfuly> they become dabilitateing.. especialy for that first cycle afterwards..... Wierdest thing is after moveing in and liveing with my ex for so long its timed allmost to hers now....  I usualy call her and remind her to stock up on supplies because mine usualy hits 2 days prior to hers... *Go figure*  Ive posted about this before... but in the form of a HELP!!! SAVE ME!!! type question when they were so bad I couldnt do anything....

Im asumeing this means I might be IS...  my natural T level is patheticly low, but I just deal withit, and my friends know when its comeing and can tollorate so thats all that really matters.

I think that facts are we all cycle through are emotions all of the time. Even men they do but they have less emotion than females so it is less apparent.

Having said that I have noticed that over time living as a woman my metal state of mind is like way different than it used to be. You could say it is the same mental conditioning cycle a girl goes through as she is growing up and over time my mental patterns have changed.

I think most of what you sweeties have described is just being female in a female role with a female chemistry. Unless some one cycles their hormones to recreate the the monthly hormonal roller coaster I just don't see it being the same at all. I do know some do that never have figured out why.


Being a woman to me is complicated with many feelings and emotions of every flavor and color there is rolled into sweet femininity and a new love of life. To me it is actioned packed with candies and I love that!!!!!

I am mostly male, but feeling both male and female. And I have monthly periods.
(Thanks to my mom's genes, I often get migraines during my periods...)
Then again, I have extreme amounts of both male and female hormones surging through my veins, so.. That would explain the periods.
I'm not on HRT, I'm not in any way transitioning, and my breast size is a very, extremely small A. (Meaning: Near to nothing, but at least something. It actually looks as if my chest muscles are huge. Which they aren't; it's all soft and such.)

Oh......yes.
Just ask my wife.  Yep, in a couple weeks, I'll be hyper, anxious, overly emotional, sometimes depressed.  I have the timing pretty well nailed down now.  Who knew?  I figured, 'at least I won't have a period'......heheh.....think again!

I don't know whether to call them periods, but after my SRS, I feel that my emotions are just going berserk.  Hopefully as time passes, my body will assimilate the change of my new HRT regimen and whatever else is going on? I am hoping.

I had heard of this from a few T gals before I started HRT and thought it was strange.  I still do.  I am on the same levels from month to month to month.  However, for some reason I do cycle and it is only a couple of days out of the month.  A few times it has been pretty severe, once a friend started looking for Midol from someone at a party because I was feeling so bad.  Also I am with her and her husband a lot.  She and I synced up but we did not really notice.  he sure did.  Even some coworkers commented, after I came out, "No wonder you were always a ***** a few days each month."

i have decided that once I get a bill or three squared away that I am going to ask my medical team (gp, endoc, etc) about looking into it and see if there is a medical/biological reason behind it.  I am mainly concerned about my health and also want to make sure there will be no complications should I be able to afford surgery down the road.

I am just the opposite. I am usualy one tracked on business and taking care of customers. You know a general B_ _ _ _  .But look out usually the last week of the month. I turn into a little vixen. Most anything goes. It tends to get me into some tight situations. One time I was in Padre Island for spring break and entered a wet tee shirt contest. No I did not win!!! Would have been really neet for a a person like me to win it though. When I am out and in the mood I tend to drink to much.

A few times a year I get "worked up" pretty well, I jokingly call it going into heat with a couple of friends who know about it.  I know what kind of trouble I would get into and exercise an insane amount of willpower to stay home.

If they are truly friends let loose and go for it. They will protect you from trouble. It not like you're going to get pregnant. If they are friends I would say go for it. My true friends have never let me down. They have brought me back to my senses when I tend to go too far. Sometimes I think I have tranisitioned to a woman already. I forget that all of the equipment is not in place quite yet. I kind of go into a hypnotic state and do things I should not do, and forget I am not complete yet. Well I have survived.

I have the same problem sometimes.  Fortunately, I have been able to get out of those situations unscathed.  I've been a lot more careful lately though.

Funny, I started looking at this, and it always seems to run in a cycle that I get very stressed.  About once a month.  Hmmmm have to think about this some more.

Though my experience with this is not as vast as yours, I've found myself needing to stop and remind myself not to get ahead of myself and be overconfident.  One wrong move could set things back a lot.

My friends are not available nor do they see me quite like that.  I stay away from temptation during that time because I normally do not form intimate relations until I have been dating someone for a bit.  I have not ever been able to handle casual sex.  Should I decide to change my mind about that (but I will not) then yes, I do know people who are willing.  Plus my friends do not club like I do on occasion so I am usually out by myself.

I have always had mood swings it did not take female hormones to do that.

However on female hormones I sometimes feel far better than I ever felt without them.  I can feel real happy!

On the other hand sometimes I decide I do not need female hormones and I can not stop crying after about 1 day.  I will cry over anything!  However I cried when I got married and it was not because I was sad.

My cycle is not regular at all!
