I find it spectacular to have a "feminine socialization" -- what with not living with my dad and being brought up as a girl, my sister and I could change in the same room, talk about periods XD, all sorts of stuff. Being a drag queen, it's handy to've been able to wear dresses as a child.
Being smaller makes me seem like less of a threat, so apparently the people my principal was afraid would hurt me (the big thuggish guys who are six foot eight foot twelve XD) find me to feminine and tiny (compared to them) to be any trouble, so they've never ganged up on me. They're generally more accepting, which is amusing.
Appreciating the diversity of genders is a nice bonus. And being more easily satisfied. Old man calls a cisguy "son" -- the guy will think nothing of it. I get called son, I'm still as ecstatic as the first time it ever happened. (This can come with the sad side-effect of being very sensitive to names and pronouns.)
