I was working the other day during a festival and this person went down my isle twice. The thing is that I couldn't really couldn't tell if they were transgendered or anything, and if they were what type they were. Basically the person had an obviously male head, they had dreadlocks and a beard. But their nails were really long and feminine, and they were wearing female street clothes (t-shirt and jeans) with a feminine figure to match (no boobs, though, but they had a really nice behind).

Now I usually advocate against this kind of...gossip, let's say, but it's really driving me crazy trying to figure out what this person was going for. Were they mtf? Ftm? Androgynous? I know I shouldn't care and should just let the issue be, but it's driving me a little nuts!

Nevertheless it's nice to know I'm not going to be the only one outside of the gender norm in my little town.

I'm going with *throws dart at the gender dartboard* ...MtF!

Only they can know for sure, but as you said it's nice to know that people feel comfortable enough there to express themselves.
Oh I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love

A blah blog

I'd say that they were "going for" simply themselves, and leave it at that :). Why categorise? Each of us is free to look just how we want to look, without being required to justify it in terms of a direction or an identity beyond "this is how I feel happy and comfortable."

(snap, Debbie :))

Sadie, if you don't mind me asking, do you have any idea why it's driving you crazy to know?

I'm going with ftm or crossdresser, cause I don't really expect presenting mtf's to have beards. >.< Did they have an addam's apple?

Seeing it was during a festival, I would go for dressed up, and leave it at that. Maybe a naturally bearded woman, but unless you fancied them does it matter?

I'd just enjoy the dose of variety they brought into my day.

Oh it's not anymore. It was probably due to the fact that it was the most interesting thing to happen to me within weeks to be honest.

You guys are right though, they were just being themselves and that's all that matters :).
