This can be a positive thing and a negative thing. You get to see people's true colours. Coming out shows you who your real friends are. And I have to agree with everyone else here: choosing your dick size, not having to feel pain when someone kicks you there :P

I understand that some of you find nothing positive about being trans and sometimes I feel that way too, but I just wanted to try and get myself and others in a more positive way of thinking  :)

no prob, I think its nice to try be posetive even if we mostly find it annoying.

another note,
positive thing about being trans for me is I got alittle more into the queer and androgyne art I might not be if I wasnt. but now I find it pretty cool.

Several
1. having periods and boobs and then being rid of them, you can then be more understanding of your gf.
2. being able to take it in the groin and not double up, that must real hurt for what I have seen do after getting hit.
3. being able to pick the size of your dick and when it would get hard.
4. being able to pee standing at an urinal without leaking or spraying
I could go on, but that is enough for now

Since most of us are pretty short (compared to cismen), airplane seats [economy class]aren't nearly as uncomfortable and we can actually move our legs somewhat.

Is #4 a wish or a statement?  Genetic males miss an entire toilet by two feet and I think they were aiming at middle.
Old genetic males miss an entire toilet by three feet and are glad if they can still pee!

Did you not notice a reduction in length of line and wait times in male restroom?   :)

Yesterday my girlfriend texted me and said this, "Holy ->-bleeped-<-e. Thank you for being a boyfriend who understands periods. oAo"

TheAwesomePrussia,  we can certainly be more understanding of their periods.

wendy, I think the answer is both, wish and statement.  I wish we could have #4 as a result so I could use an urinal and not have to be concerned about who was around.  Right now for what I read with a meta the results are usually not long enough to easily use a urinal.  I know many guys have a problem with aiming when using a toilet.  I don't how one does with a toilet after the meta procedure.  I am still a few years before a meta or phallo, so I am looking and reading all I can now.  I have seen a few good looking phallo as far as peeing is concerned but I would like more feeling down there afterwards then they get now.

The most positive part for me is that it has provided a fascinating window into social psychology. Lots of interesting things I wouldn't have known or seen otherwise.

I have become SO open minded from being trans.

My whole family is racist and homophobic.  and I used to believe that being gay was wrong.  When I was like 16, I thought lesbians were gross, I thought MTFs were gross (but not FTMs, lol).   But that just came from my closed mind.
Finding out I am trans pushed me into the LGBT community, where I became educated about other queer people.  and it shook my worldview and I realized that I don't know anything.  I got no right to pretend I do.
Unfortunately, my whole family didn't get that experience, so they all still think that they got a right to pretend they know everything.

Variations with people never bothered me.  I have always had eclectic friends.  I did wonder why a girl would want to be a gross guy?  He would become smelly, hairy, muscular and have a high sex drive.

However as I learned more, the FTM's have less drama than MTF's.  FTM's seem so much surer of themselves.

true, well now I already live in a place with alot of forregian people and my famely are surported of gay folks so thats no deal, since I probebly still would be gay if i wasnt trans.

but I got to know more about gender in general I talk to people having conditions with there DNA as well as people who been gender experiementing and so. which are pretty cool, I might not know these kind of people existed if it wasnt because I was trans..

also one of my mtf friend came out to me and everyone ells and she have told me it where because I came out to her first.
so if I wasnt trans she would still be where she was before.
