Considering that we use androgyne as a Transgender identity, it seems to me that the only "requirement" for being an androgyne is that you're psychologically androgynous. That can take many different forms. And being is different than expressing.

Did I miss something?  Isn't that like saying that in order to be wet, some liquid must be involved?

I agree with Casey...being an Androgyne is about who you are, not how you look.

Ya put your right foot in.  You put your right foot out.  You put your right foot in and you shake it all about.  You do the Andro-gyney and you turn yourself around.  That's what it's all about.

Kendra, I'm curious as to what you mean by androgynic, I couldn't find it in the dictionary widget...

I think that KK is posting a bit of a sarcastic comment?  You know... about the other threads going on.  It's cute if that's what it is.

Oh, that makes sense Cindi. I'm still a little (?) slow on the uptake right now.

If I'm androgynous but you can't tell if I am or not, does that make me androgynously androgynous?

Androgynes [must be] androgynous androgynic.(period)

Ehm... So we've got as far as that, Ken/dra. But.. What exactly do you mean to point out with this statement? What response are you expecting?

What I've learnt at school was that androgynous means sex-less. Meaning genderless. Like angels, for example, being devoid of gender. Neither male nor female.

Is that what you mean?

Cindi is right in that this was a little bit of sarcasm towards other posts found elsewhere.

Though I found the androgynous word to be biased and skewed already towards appearance focused (which it is somewhat). So thats why I crossed out Katia's use of the androgynous as a synonym.

This is also was just stated just to make people think a bit on what makes an androgyne an androgyne. And what are the essential characteristics, character, and fundamental state of an androgyne. I wasnt really using it as a definition post, but rather a "make you think and ponder post" as well as a little of the other reasons I said.

Very androgynically done, K

Short, Direct, Forceful - Straight from the Male side
Hidden meanings, Time-bomb Gotcha - Straight from the Female side
Confusing as all get-out - Straight from Somewhere around the middle

*Shrugs* I was gonna wax philosophicaly about what makes someone an androgyne as opposed to simply looking androgynous, but, sadly, my spray can is all out of paint and it would take too long to paint the building with my nail polish brush.

I don't know what this means, but that's what happens when you work too much and sleep too little
