I drive a 2000 Acura Integra with manual transmission. That's where I practice with my female voice CD. Neither my wife nor daughter can drive a stick shift.
I ride a yellow Fuji I bought used during the '70s for $90, to which I added custom wheels. I rode everywhere when I lived in Chicago and in Michigan (up to 100 miles a day), but I get scared of roads and drivers here in Massachusetts. Boston is becoming friendlier to bikes, but I'm not in Boston. And if I'm riding for pleasure, I like to ride with a friend.
Hiking is fun. With a friend, I do the twenty mile Project Bread Walk for Hunger in Boston each May and dream of hiking Isle Royale end to end. Mostly, though, my hikes are for shorter distances. There's a nice trail along the river where we live.
Rent a canoe or kayak from time to time.
I, too, love to fly. I've taken lessons in Michigan and out here, and soloed, but money always gets to be the deciding issue. I represented U-Mass Lowell at a hand gliding meet once. I built a Pelican Ultravia ultralight, but got divorced and moved into an apartment before flying it.
