In truth, I threw away the herbals at the first of the year. I did a saliva series for hormones and had the highest estrogen level that they had ever seen. (oops!) Sometimes I over do things. Everything else was pretty good and the report said I was postmenopausal.
I did enroll in one of those gender identity clinics back in the 70's spending several sessions with a psychiatrist. I was an emotional basket case at the time. (a relationship exploded) None the less all I got was antidepressants, which did nothing for me except siphon off my checking account.
The queer reference was actually a humorous reference to the way the bigoted world categorizes all of us.
I do have a therapist and plastic surgeon and a dentist. all of which give me a fun time. I told my therapist she was like my evil stepmother, since she always encourages me. She also knows everything I am doing.
Getting connected to a doctor is a pain, because I travel most of the time. I spend about a year in every big town. I found a friendly one, but getting home for an appointment costs me his fee and a days pay or more. and I already know he will want a bunch of tests and my plastic surgeon already wants another EKG and I am over due for my colesteol and liver tests. Since I had one heart attack I am strictly self pay. and I really would prefer to buy a new pair of shoes.
As for self surgery, I think I am going to skip that one. (that was a joke.) The biggest reason for surgery would be for Medicare and that I am getting close to. At my age, I do not have a lot of single men hanging around. Most of my friends, in this town are lesbians and everybody is younger. Go figure!
I do appreciate your friendly remarks. Love Bambi
