While I'm certainly not a resident of this part of town, whenever I visit I always get overwhelmed by the awesome vibes of this section! In my short time here, I've never seen anyone degrading one another, shouting other people down because they don't fit your paradigm, or otherwise causing mayhem and terror as if this place is some kind of reiteration of 1992 Oakland.
So, for whatever it's worth, I'd like to congratulate everyone here who works to make this a safe and positive atmosphere for everyone.
So please tell us what those of us on the other side of the tracks can learn from you guys, because the trans women part of town is prone to being acrimonious and divisive. (Especially in terms of post vs. non op.)
