My momma picked out my new middle name over the weekend. And we had a huge rantfest about favorite/least favorite names.

I have court Nov, 29th for my name change. I'm so excited. My name change is within reach.

I just started fostering three new kittens.  They are 8 weeks old and very cute.

I got my first T shot today.     It was so cool. The staff in the office are awesome. The nurse showed me how to do it and than that was that.

I've taken up yo-yoing and I'm getting better.
My best friend ordered me a non-responsive yo-yo.
My life is relatively comfortable.
This weekend I felt something an awful lot like flirting from my friend.
My two favourite bands are coming on the 5th of December, playing the same show.

I had forgotten how good vegan eggnog is with nutmeg and amaretto.

Also, I was helping my mother in the garden, an my hair was messy and in my face.  She joked that I look like Justin Bieber like that.  He's not exactly top of the list for guys I'd want to look like, but hey, I'll take it.  In other news, I need a haircut. 

Made a sale today, and if I'm lucky, will be making approximately 130$ in the next few days.

Congratulations  I hope I'm making a safe assumption by your name that you're Australian, can I ask out of curiosity and if you don't mind, who will be performing your surgery?

Anyway, contribution into the thread.. I'm going paintballing next weekend, and while my Mum was booking the venue for me and my brother over the phone, she was asking me where I wanted to go/what day, and when she asked the person over the phone to wait, she said that she was "just going to ask my son what he wants to do" - when she makes an effort to use male pronouns etc. it just makes my day. 

I got an appointment through for the london gender clinic today it's not until April but it feels awesome to finally have a date in mind to look forward to.

Omg I didn't know there was vegan eggnog. I shall find some of that by christmas. And some rum, or whatever it is people put in it.

I finally got a haircut today and it's so much shorter then it was. It was down to my shoulders and now it's a guys length. I'm so, so happy with it, cause it even looks kind of unisex/masculine-ish.

Also, I'm out of the closet to my sister, who actually knew earlier on. (She caught me binding, I told her, but then later on I had some doubts on whether or not I was trans, so I told her I wasn't.) She took it better the second time around and isn't going to tell anyone.

And I'll have a binder soon too.

I told the girl I have been dating for a year..that I am a transguy...and she was perfectly fine with it and told me she doesn't look at me differently and that she loves me.

My wife.  She makes me happy every day of my life.  When those old familiar thoughts of slipping away creep in, I just think of her and I know why I'm happy to still be here.  I'm blessed to live here in this beautiful forgiving country of Australia.  I'm blessed to have such a loving family.  And today, when I thought that I had no friends, my new friend inboxed me on Facebook and actually took the time to see if I was ok.

I just want to say so many people here have some awesome things that make them happy.

Recent happiness:

-Broke out into song with a complete stranger
-Found a doctor who handles hormone therapy in my tiny town.
-My grandmother called to tell me about a picture of me as a five year old she found. (Me and my granddad burning my most hated dress)
-Was able to give a freshman advice about how to dress for our winters. (It's currently -40F, yes, it's in the negatives)
-Discovered Epic Rap Battles of History on youtube.

With any luck I can add "made progress on thesis" before the night it up.

I finally got on the waitlist for rent-controlled housing. They open the lists for a couple days every time the estimated wait time drops to less than a year. If I get in, my rent will be capped at 30 percent of my income. Yay. 

A cashier called me 'sir' the other day. The moment I opened my mouth he realized his "mistake" and said ma'am like three times, but i still think it's cool that he initially took me for a guy. Maybe my binder works better than I thought~
