Last night as I was getting ready to go to a bar for the first time in my life, I noticed something.

I didn't have my blouse on yet as I didn't want to worry about getting makeup powder on it. As I looked into the bathroom mirror, just standing there in my camisole and jeans I saw someone whom I thought was attractive.

I'd never thought that about myself. I'd put together outfits that I liked. There had been times when I liked my hair. But this was the first time I found myself attractive.

I've been comfortable in my identity for a while, but still had not been too cool with my appearance. Then last night, it just hit me. I'm getting more comfortable with myself as a whole.

It does get better.
