I will say it openly. What all of you who participated in that thread did was truly unkind.

I am so disappointed in all of you who participated in todays events.

i agree with val i read those posts its so tragic that we can circle and attack like a pack of dogs with no thought to  the damage we might be causing

Unfortunately, everyone feels like they are being attacked, because everyone feels their position is justified.  This is why I said that the debates will never stop unless one of the following happens:

1)  People agree to disagree, and just stop talking about this topic.
2)  We reach a compromise on the issue (extremely unlikely)
3)  Social conditions change that make the arguments from one side obsolete.

i have another thread on exactly this topic i agree with the prievious poster's comments sometimes you have to just walk away
