The Promo for ABC's Men-Dressed-as-Women Comedy 'Work It' Has to Be Some Kind of Joke

This is what we know: there is now a promo for the ABC mid-season show "Work It," shown below, about two masculine bros who dress up as women to get jobs in the "mancession," and it's so unbelievable that it's even leaving YouTube commenters speechless. (Sample: "I don't know what to write.") That never, ever happens!

What in the hell is going on here? Will it turn out that the premise of the show, that people are actually fooled by these two guys and think that they're actually women, is all a joke on them somehow?

Every year gets a movie so unspeakably disgusting, it becomes a cultural touchstone in its own right. Last year it was The Human Centipede; this year, Jack and Jill. Imagine combining the two into the The Jack and Jill Centipede: a four-man, ass-to-mouth daisy chain of Adam Sandlers surgically attached to Adam Sandlers in drag. The mind reels, the stomach heaves. But you know what's even grosser than that? This. Work It.

    With unemployment an ongoing issue and women now outnumbering men in the workforce, the new comedy series Work It follows two alpha males who realize the only way to beat the current "mancession" and land a job in pharmaceutical sales is to pass themselves off as women.

Somebody has to be listening at ABC. I just went to their website for this crapy show and found 99% of the comments were against it. I don't know how any show can survive with no social value in the midst of such disgust. I liked bussom buddies but that was a different time.

ABC's new cross-dressing comedy Work It isn't going to play things coy.

The show's provocative official key art puts stars Amaury Nolasco and Ben Koldyke in a bathroom. At a urinal. And... yup. See below. Regardless of how you feel about the show (or, since you haven't seen it yet, how you think you feel), this is an ad that will get people talking and provoke strong reactions. I went to see the video from two of your links and both came up as removed by YouTube for violation of TOS.  Not sure what the exact violation was though.
