So does anyone else find its tricking to be we, Trans AND into girls.  Guys try to pick me up all the time, but I jsut want other girls you know?  But like the few times I tell a girl that I'm trans.  Because well what ever came up meant I needed to tell them.  The assume I want to be with a guy.  I don't know,  Pretending to be a strait guy was worse for different reasons.

How may of you girls think of your selves as Bi, or lesbian.  And how do you meet girls?

I am into girls kinda. Being a former gay male...I never got to fully experience a girl in all their glory.

I have no idea how to talk to them sexually. ->-bleeped-<- hags kinda threw myself on me back then.

But I would just consider myself a modified gay man persuing a girl...not a lez in the slightest.

I noticed I'm crushing onto some girls.

...I dont know how this happened.
But i'd totally date one and see where it went if i didn't have a boyfriend already.

I sometimes wish I was straight. I want to get into the lesbian scene, but I feel like such a fake. Like I am some colonist man-oppressor. I hate having the feels I do , I really sometimes wish I could just not have an attraction to anyone or anything. I know it would certainly be better for those girls around me. FML.

I avoid talking to straight girls entirely. They think they are interested in me but I know better and I'm always proven right. I try to look at it from their perspective... I am not even in the least bit bi curious, and if I met someone who was going the FtM path I'd definitely decline a relationship because I don't want to be with a guy.

So I just focus on bi girls. They seem far more accepting of me. I met a wonderful girl on a dating site just recently, and she calls me by my true name and sees me as I am inside. She's also my best friend now, which is wonderful... so even if things don't work out I'll still have a friend. :)

She is also MtF, which helps a lot I think. She understands my pain completely, and that understanding feels so wonderful to me. I feel so safe with her.

I am not interested in guys, but I am interested in TV/CD/TS and transgendered girls. Why? I have no idea.

I have had some guys come onto me and I have said "no thanks". But I am interested in a lesbian type relationship with either a GG or someone who identifies as a TV/CD/TS or transgendered.

I am quite submissive so the other person would need to take control.

Before this 'trans lesbian' thingy always baffled me as a 'straight trans' cos I thought by being trans, that all trans are standard like me but then I came to realize this trans world is so varried and complex as non op trans, straight trans, lesbians trans etc...

Can you please enlighten me on something about lesbian trans.

I heard of trans being lesbians. I know trans who loves BIOLOGICAL GIRLS, other trans love OTHER LESBIAN TRANS. But generally, do lesbian trans like either 'only bio girls' and other others like 'only other trans girls' or it's standard that they love BOTH bio girls and trans girls at the same time. But what I've noticed I've NEVER seen a MTF POST-OP LESBIAN, I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF THIS EXISTS OR IT'S MY IMAGINATION PULLING AT THE MOST EXTREME, SO YEAH, DID YOU EVER HEAR OF A TRANS WHO OPERATED TO HAVE VAGINA TO BE LESBIAN TO BE WITH EITHER WITH BIO GIRLS OR WITH TRANS GIRLS?

How can a trans woman view other trans women as somehow less than bio women?  Doesnt that mean they are then less too?

There are many trans lesbians that get full GCS. I will as soon as my bank recovers from FFS.  Who we are (gender identity) is very different than who we desire (sexual orientation). There is no real correlation between the two.
Blessed Be!

Well hon, we might just be talking about me here. Post-op 'n all.
I had come to realize I was a male-lesbian, 'girl inside', it's how all of this panned out in the end.
It's pretty dang simple, our affectional orientation is quite separate from our gender - and in our trans situation also different from our sex.

Easy peacy, I hope not to have you baffled :-)

About >80% MtF are actually more lesbian than male oriented...

After a bit of confusion just prior to realising my problem was gender and not sexuality, I had a short relationship with a guy.  Once I sorted things out and realised I was not a Bi man, but a woman, my sexual orientation swung back to women exclusively.  I now consider myself to be a Lesbian, but with the possibility I could be attracted to Transmen or Intersex people as well.   Men, even Bi are pretty much off the menu now though.

I still intend to have SRS as I want to be able to have a normal sex life as a Lesbian.  I have had no real success dating so far though, due to a combination of the women on dating sites never being able to commit to more than a couple of emails (typical of sites) and taking a while to be accepted in my new town.   If you see yourself as a woman, then you cannot consider other transwomen as other than women too.  It's a pretty simple equation, woman + woman = Lesbian relationship.

Meeting other women seems to be a popular topic on Lesbian sites, and in magazines, so you are not the only one in this situation.   Being older, the club scene is not really appealing, so I am trying other avenues like women's sport.  Roller Derby seems to attract a high number of lesbian fans, so that is a good place to start.

I think it is probably better to out oneself as a Lesbian, then if things progress see how being trans is handled. Pretty much how the straight girls handle the situation.  I figure that confessing that I have no experience as a woman should be fairly appealing to anyone who is interested.

Karen.

I DO have an issue to be outed as a lesbian. Chicken?
In my surroundings it be from the frying pan into the fire, I feel.
So since the jig isn't up yet, and I do not have to decide I have committed to being BI sexual, kinda save... of sorts.

I'd try out some dudes, sure, not to be offish - but most in my age group are REALLY 'unsuitable' in the first place.
Most lesbians BTW too..., so I'm close to accepting an old girl's live, living on my own with some friends for comfort. "Can't always get what you want..." sob.

Sometimes I saw VERY HANDSOME guys transitioned to become lesbian but remaining as a guy they would/could have got ALL girls they wanted cos they WERE super handsome. Majority of women are cis and straight, so is it not better to remain untransitioned or be a 'lesbian-crossdresser' to appease the 'urge' of feeling like a woman or is it that the 'want' of becoming a woman is too strong that you say like 'Well ->-bleeped-<- it, I wanna just be a girl, even I'll have lesser range of girlfriends who are only lesbians and no more the straight cis/trans girls.

OMG LOOK HOW VERY HANDSOME HE WAS BEFORE BECOMING A LESBIAN  :o

Eh, it seems pretty straightforward to me now, I realise I've always been a dyke who likes the occasional man too - I just got the wrong body to go with it, for the moment.

I've been going along to a weekly social thing for lesbian/bi women, and they have no problem at all accepting that I'm basically a tall dyke with persistent stubble issues (damn you, electrolysis) :). I feel so relieved in their company, because they "get" me in a way that many trans women seem not to, given that my preferred appearance is pretty tomboyish.

You're whatever gender you really are, and you fancy whoever you really fancy. There's no "trans women are this and that" there's just individuals who fancy individuals. Me, I'm just attracted to someone if I'm attracted to them, and their gender is not that relevant to me. Though I've been falling hopelessly in love for decades with women who turn out to be lesbians, and now I know why :).

Well I can be attracted to a tGirl,  BUT  it's harder because you have to worry that shes going to switch to boy mode on you.  I make damn sure I don't do that.  Because it's kind of like  looking into a funhouse mirror.  And well I don't like seeing a boy in the mirror.  Cognitive dissonance?

As long as it looks, talks and acts like, a girl, :)
But you know Butch Lesbians don't work for me.  I try but if the only time I can tell that shes a girl is when shes naked.  :P

I'm Not the only one!?  Sweety, I felt like a male-lesbian to!  In my old life I felt like so crappy because I felt like I was a lesbian.  I don't know how you explain that to some one that hasn't felt it.  But, so many time I would find my self thinking that I wasn't a strait guy,  I was a lesbian trapped in a guys body.

/huggggggggsss   You just made my whole week honey.

All I know is...It is very difficult for me to "connect" (emotionally or physically) with straight women.

It seems to me that they want this imaginary "ideal" (picture the "Brawny (c) guy", but with loads of money) of a man and don't like anyone who may fall short of this. This is a two-way street....they want the guy to conform to their ideal, and they want the guy to be happy with a counterpart with equal ideals, rather than just letting one be oneself.

On the other hand, I have "clicked" almost immediately with nearly all lesbian/bi girls out there. Gay men...not so much (but more so than w/straight women)
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

My boyfriend need to start lifting weights, have sex with other men, and not be GAY. Only then will he meet my standards.
