My dad has always been the kind of dad who calls me princess and stuff like that but just now on Facebook we were joking around and he said "you're grounded young man" this made me so happy that I had to share.

My dad shocked me too recently by saying that he wanted to go to Pride with me this year, because as he said "it's important to you so it's important to me."  Telling me he thought he could try to call me Andy in public, and asking if I thought he should talk to my mother and tell her that she needs to change her way of thinking.

As a parent these things make me smile.
