Firstly, I have to congratulate you on the very successfull surgery, which indeed made a huge difference.
In the before-pic, you, although looking fully "Yourself", did not look very passable(Atleast not in that specific pic). However, in the after-pic, you now look like a fully- quote- "normal" woman.
So, Concratulations.

However I disagree with the claim that the surgeon will always try to talk you into doing as much as possible just for the sake of it, as, in fact, it very much depends from Surgeon to Surgeon, and many surgeons will actually do the exact opposite.
Dr. Ousterhout, for instance, will rather try to talk his patients
out of doing any surgery at all if he do not think they will need it.
However, he do say that he
will give in if they
insist, but, he will, as said, always try to talk the patient out of surgery if he form the opinion that the patient will be able to pass without it.
A good Surgeon, if professional, will point out features because those features are truly there, but that yet the patient might have been totally oblivious to, yet often wondered why she is so often clocked. In general, if the Surgeon is reputable, He/She will never talk you into doing something you will not actually need.
