I didn't have much in the way of a childhood either  :-\   My folks had marital problems and I was expected to 'man up' and take care of my mom and sisters at a young age... I spent most of my time working after school and didn't have much of a social life

There are people I find attractive and I do hope to find that special someone some day, but I'm not holding my breath on it too long

I didn't work or go to school at that age, and I had way too much of a social life, but I think it comes to the same end. Eating acid and doing coke and sleeping on couches and having no food or any safety to go home to is just as stressful as working and studying all the time and being expected to be always solid and responsible. I switched gears to that after I had a kid, and it was different, but not easier or more difficult. It's all frustrating and too much.

I find lots of people attractive, and I've been in love a couple times, but I'm not looking for a "special someone." I think everybody has that potential, I guess, and I'm happy whether it develops that way or not. Maybe I'm socially defective somehow. I know I'm confused.

I don't really get crushes, I get squishes with a side of sexual attraction (or vice versa), but right now I've got three. I'm got a massive, obsessive squish on Daniel Radcliffe, a fairly moderate squish on Kristin Stewart, and I think Andrej Pejic is too attractive to be real.

Ha. I haven't seen any of the Harry Potter movies, but I saw that guy on SNL once and he was charming and he moved wonderfully.

Oh gosh I just realized I sourced the Andrej Pejic photo from an article about "manorexia" where they use him as an example of an underfed model. I want to say for the record that I think eating disorders are very serious, and I don't know if he has one or not, but I was naturally that thin for most of my life, even when eating whatever I wanted and not exercising. Anyway I think he's beautiful.

I get crushes on guys on YouTube and sometimes I subscribe to certain channels just because they have cute guys. It's really silly and I eventually unsub if their channels aren't actually interesting to me... usually. About a dozen of them are FtMs. I think my initial education about FtMs started with seeing a cute guy in some preview thumbnail, clicking and watching the video and discovering he was FtM. Might have been "ItsMeParker" but I can't remember for sure who was the first now. I ended up getting an education about trans issues essentially by accident. Then I click on a related video to the side with another cute guy. Also FtM. "Hmmm..." Next thing you know, I have unhealthy obsessions with about a dozen of them, half of which identify as str8 and all of which live hundreds of miles away from me. So anyway, it ended up being serendipitous because I actually feel like the education on trans issues has been a very good thing for me and I stayed subbed to continue to learn.

I can't really run youtube without a lot of preparation, and even then it's pretty slideshowy, but I dig falling into and realizing one's own tastes. I love that kind of fortuitous learning, where you follow base instincts and end up being a better person for it. ;D

Not so good for wisdom but still fun, I'm recently noticing that I have and always have had a thing for jewish guys. I'm not sure why. Desire is a funny thing. I also have a math fetish, apparently. I would happily lick or engulf any man (or woman?) who can demonstrably do calculus or algebra, and even just graph paper is pretty delightful to me.

Lol I have no idea who I'm supposed to sleep with anymore.

i don't really get crushes anymore.  i notice attractive features in people that might linger for a day or two, but it seems more like now when i affix on someone it's because i want to be like them, rather than wanting to be WITH them.  maybe it's out of disillusionment with relationships in general- i've had several serious relationships, the last being a failed marriage, so there's nothing fantastical about thinking about being with someone... i think a large part of a crush is sentimental romanticism.  imagination does the work.  i ain't got no imagination left for romance.

anyway, these guys are my jealocrushes... though i guess inspiration would be more appropriate.

If it makes you feel better or more normal, I'm pretty much pure sex. When I talk about crushing I'm drawing on the silliness of physicality and shallow social interface. I'm talking mostly about how personalities and bodies spark different people's imaginations.

This is strange.. I got curious about this because my friends call me "Xander Pander".. So I searched history and this is the only "Pander/Panda" that came up, referring to a person.

Do you know me IRL?

That Benji Madden guy is beautiful.

Alright people! Hey! We need to pointlessly and quixotically idealize more pretty humans based solely on their exterior features! Submissions please.

I can't really say anyone famous so much now, but when I was younger I had the biggest crush on the actress Mia Sara. When I was an impressionable kid and saw her in the film 'Legend', wow, talk about someone who takes your breath away. *blush*
