I cringed when I looked mine up. Then I cringed again. I'm cringing more now. It was "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" Hugs Devlyn edit 13DEC61

All I can say is that my life is pretty plain, I like watchin' the puddles gather rain.

Despite all my rage, I'm still just a rat in a cage

I cringed when I saw mine as well.  It triggered a big dizzy spell that I am still feeling the effects of.  "You Belong to Me" by Jo Stafford was played on the radio most often.  Her name is very similar to mine!  Her middle name is the same as one of my sisters!  Most sold and the most played in jukeboxes was "I Went to Your Wedding" by Patti Page.

When I was born, it was a bit oldfashioned in Holland, they didn't have a list, not till '65.
But the song who was heard very much on the radio was je ne regrette rien from the French singer Edith Piaf.
Beatifull song, translated, I don't have any regrets.....it suits me.

Non, rien de rien, non je ne regrette de rien,
Ni le bien qu'on m'a fait, ni le mal, tout ca m'est bien egal
Non, rien de rien, non je ne regrette de rien
C'est paye, balaye, oublie, je me fous de passe

No, nothing at all, I do not regret anything,
Neither the good done to me, nor evil, all this to me is equal
No, nothing at all, I do not regret anything
It's payed, brush it off, forget, I don't care what happens...
......
A very nice song for many of us I should think,

thanks Annette,

"I Swear" by All-4-One.

I am actually SO happy upon finding this out because I always lip sync this song to my girlfriend to make her laugh.

If anyone wants a link where you can input your birthdate to find the song, you can do it here - birthdayjams
