Well, sexual attraction to oneself isn't exactly normal or what I'd qualify as healthy, but it's not the end of the world, either, I guess. But either way, I don't think it's something that is likely to lead you to a healthy life.
Anyway, I think it's the kind of issue you should bring up with your therapist. That, or see a sexologist if you can. As always, the worst it can do is nothing.
jdinatale: I don't think she's especially against the very idea of ->-bleeped-<- (it's somewhat stupid to deny the very possibility of one being potentially excited at the thought of themself as the other sex, seeing all the sexual derivations and abonormalities that exist), but rather the theory that Ray Blanchard has as to how all male-to-female transsexuals who are not exclusively attracted to men (including lesbians, bisexuals, straights with a potential attraction to women and probably part of the asexuals) automatically do have ->-bleeped-<-.
It's implicitly saying that any lesbian transsexual likes women because she's aroused at herself in the first place, which is very hard to believe, and extremely contested, both in the community and the professional field.
On the other hand, for him, the others are trans because they have "an extreme form of homosexuality". He's basically putting everything on sexual preferences, which experience, studies and common sense have proved wrong.
