I can only repeat the points I made in the other thread on this subject and some which were added by others.
The story is uncorroborated. It appears in a few webs sites and one German tabloid. No actual references or links to any credible sources of any kind.
The story might be believable in some other societies, perhaps, at a pinch, some Eastern EU societies, but seems preposterous in the EU generally and especially an advanced state like Germany. We do not treat the problems, as described, by putting young people into psychiatric hospitals. We do not keep anyone long term and do not use psychiatry them to incarcerate or punish.
The first we heard of this story was from an online 'German' news outlet, printed in English, edited by an American. Since then it has been picked up and such additions as have been made simply seem like guess work or lies.
If any child were to be placed in any psychiatric clinic, it would be for a severe mental illness.
I don't believe a word of this. I suggest it is an outright lie, seemingy cooked up by the scurrilous editor of the German Local.
