What's really gone on here is that because you disagree with me i must be shut down and stopped from voicing an opinion.

That was basically the entire premise of what you just said though, because you disagree with people not passing as well as others, they must be stopped from doing so.

Oh dear, I guess I'm not attractive enough to be a proper woman. Time to go back to being a miserable man. Wish I'd known before I'd started and got all happy with myself and stuff, oh well. It's all about looks.

I never said that. I've never seen you in my life.

Yeah I agree with this too. I'm probably gonna get flamed for saying this but imho those ts girls that don't care about their appearance and fit perfectly into the stereotypical "man in a dress" give those that do take the time to look convincingly female a bad name. I think some trans women just want the best of both sex's but unfortunately it doesn't work like that.

I don't agree with the "if your ugly you shouldn't transition" bit, again this goes back to taking pride in your appearance. Anyone can look feminine even pretty if they work hard enough, but hormones are not enough and femininity isn't gonna be handed to you. I think this is the reason why so many end up being butchy unkempt trans girls because they're lazy and don't wanna put the effort in.

This is exactly the point I was trying to convey, 100%. But I was typing up my last phone while bored at work on my phone.

What I said wasn't aimed at people that wear jeans and T to go to the garden store. In fact I think it's ridiculous (and fake) for those that go there in full makeup and 5" heels to get a shovel. It was really aimed at the ones that think it's for them to tell everyone they're a girl, when what they do and how they present basically breathes "male". I wasn't really downing them (but in my mind I do, because I am catty as hell), more like asking "well is the trouble really worth it?"

BTW you are a girl now. Since you're a girl, maybe you should understand the world of being a girl involves certain stereotypes. Among those, is women who judge you and talk about you behind your back. We all know expectations from genders... welcome to the other side of the gender spectrum.

That said, just because you're ugly shouldn't mean you should not transition. However, most women wouldn't just let themselves be completely ugly. Do you really expect people to look at you in your facial scruff, talking like an NFL linebacker to maam you and trust you with girl talk? Transsexuals would, but the rest of the world? Highly unlikely.

And Miki: Nothing I said was about you either. Be you, whatever makes you happy. But someone will always be there to judge you. If you're cis and you did stuff outside the norm, people would judge you.

Jeaneva: IDC if you wear jeans and a T... or if you haul heavy stuff... it's the overall presentation that makes me go  ??? ... some of that involves the ones that try way too hard to be feminine too. But of course there are those out there that think "Oh I just don't have to wear makeup but people better understand that I'm a girl and always identify me as one, even though my mannerisms and looks scream male."
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

Again. I never said that. If you want to have a rational discussion I'm up for it but I'm not interested if you want to have a textual screaming match

I'm sorry, but that's exactly what you said. You clearly stated that you didn't want people who aren't up to your standards of appearance representing you. I'm not really sure how we could have a rational discussion about such an utterly vacuous and shallow opinion really. Perhaps you'd be better off checking out the latest Hello! magazine? I hear Brittney Spears has a spot!
