Hello everyone. The name's Jordan (or Jordyn, I do rather like that version of my name) I'm from BC, Canada and I've felt I was in the wrong body since I was around the age of 13-14

Since then I've done research and just looked online to try and figure out what was going on in my head and at around 15-16 I found out about there being other people who felt the same way. Last year I tried to come to my Mom via e-mail which didn't work out as planned due to mistaken wording of using transgender instead of transsexual and then having her come home and finding out she looked on wikipedia what transgender means and automatically started thinking I was everything on the wikipedia page for tg except transsexual. After getting that sorted out and assuring my Mom that I wasn't I pretty much pushed myself back into the closet. Although I turn 19 soon which is the magic age for stuff where I live which would mean I can start going to doctors and etc on my on without her having to be there. I'm just gonna save the rest of this bit for some other thread since this is a hello thread.

I found this website and have looked on it quite a bit and decided it was time to join.

So Yeah, Jordan or Jordyn from BC, 18 and currently a female inside of the body of a male.

Hi Jordyn,  from the other side of the Pacific, and welcome.

We are a pretty varied bunch, so feel free to pop up on any thread and toss in your two cents worth.  It makes me happy to see anyone being able to make changes at a younger age than myself.  Big Hugs.

Karen.

Hi Jordyn,

Another of the Aussie crowd wishing you a warm welcome! Sometimes people get a bit wrapped up in terminology and don't see the person for who they are.. Just be you..

Hugs,
Kelly

Hi Jordyn,
And yes, another warm Aussie welcome to Susan's family. Good to see you are making all the right decisions; and thank you for taking the time and placing your trust in us by sharing some of your life's experiences.

There is plenty of information and resources for you to tap into here, as well as develop good relationships. Well as everyone has suggested, jump in and start talking.

Oh! and BTW Karen isn't THAT much older than you. She must be all of 19 and a half  (Dear god, there goes Catherine again :eusa_liar: )

Be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Hi "Jordan or Jordyn"!  ;)  Welcome from another member in the Pacific time zone - for me, southern California.

We have several other members from BC.  "Tazia" comes immediately to mind.

Welcome to the family, Jordyn.

Wise of you to notice Rubix. We are here more or less as an strategic initiative. You see, depending on the time zone you live in, State side, Australia is anywhere between 14 -17 hours ahead of you. Which simply means we know what's going to happen to you, before it does so. So we are here to catch the bits and put them back together before you break completely.

Now that's a prime piece of Aussie logic if I've ever heard any. ..........  Others may think it is prime piece of something else.  :o   ::)   ;D

The other benefit, Rubix, as America sleeps; you may not be able to for whatever reason. Well here at Susan's, someone is always home to listen and help. Sure we may be shooing kangaroos off the forecourt of the Opera House or doing Koala pedestrian duty in George St, but someone is sure to round to summons the Light Horse Brigade.   :police: (our answer to your Cavalry.)

Be safe. well and happy.
Lotsa huggs

Catherine is using jibber jabber to blind you with facts! The Aussies have no idea what we do with the seven to ten hours we have left after they go to bed. Hugs, Devlyn

I keep hearing about these "Ozzies" here, but I never hear about any "Harriets."

You can always tell the English.
You can always tell the Dutch.
You can always tell the Australians,
But you can't tell'em much.

Touché Jamie; I'll pay that one.
Totally awesome, between you and Devlyn, it took 20 minutes to stop laughing long enough to get this one away.

Happy Easter. Remember not to put all your eggs in one basket.  (Don't know why the hell. Never got a satisfactory explanation as to why, just sounds good advice)

Be safe, well and happy.
