Yesterday at work, one of my closest friends, gg, 21yrs old, a real knock-out, dashed over to powder her face, something she does multiple times in a day. I jokingly asked if I had any shine......"No", she said, "you always have a powder-perfect complexion....I hate you! Really, I never see a shine on your face, and your complexion is so even......how did you get so lucky?"
Well.....presenting male at work, still, I couldn't very well tell her my estrogen levels were as high as hers, and it was, after all, in the powder, as well as the genes.
At church today, all went pretty well. I now have Sundays off. I haven't had Sundays off in over half a year. Anyway, one of my old friends, gg, looked very carefully at close range. Said my hair was too long, and it made me look too feminine, especially with the little gold studs I wore. She kept looking carefully, at very close range, until I lunged for her neck with my teeth bared, and made her jump back. I had to laugh to myself....."it ain't just the hair, honey", I thought. Just the subtle re-arrangement of facial fat, the lack of facial hair, and lots of other things I have no plan of changing. Get used to it....."
Marcy insists we will still sit up front, as usual, and ignore those who may judge. She is truly an amazing woman.
