Hey all,

Chris here. I'm from KS, USA... Just coming to terms with being transmasculine, maybe FTM? Still trying to figure it all out... I present as male, prefer male pronouns, bind my chest, have a masculine haircut, etc. Basically I came out as a lesbian a few years back (I'm 21) and although I noticed it wasn't exactly how I felt, I knew it was a lot closer than simply heterosexual. I've been doing a lot of research and I'm definitely transmasculine, still looking into FTM.
I have a lot of friends who are transgendered and transsexual so it's not an entirely new subject to me, but definitely for me. I hadn't really ever considered it a possibility for myself. My parents are incredibly anti-LGBTQI anything, so even coming out as a lesbian was a huge challenge. I lost a lot of friends, transferred colleges, and my parents barely tolerate me. On the bright side, I do have an incredible fiancee. She doesn't care if I'm female, male, or somewhere in between. She just loves me as much as a human can love another human.

So, I'm pretty lucky.

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm here to learn and seek and understand so I'm definitely up for talking to anyone/everyone. Especially anyone in the Midwest region, hit me up!

Love and peace to you all.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother.

No way! Dude, I'm originally from Topeka. That's awesome. How did you handle Kansas? I feel like I'm suffocating in homophobia.
