What features do you have that you feel work for, rather than against, you.

Kelly J. P.

Almost every feature of mine could be augmented in some way... however, there are a few that I wouldn't change. To my advantage, my height is the best feature I have - as are my eyes and cheekbones. My face has very strong features all around... thankfully, those two are strongly feminine.

My cheekbones, my thinness, decent hips and I was lucky enough not to have too wide of a jaw.

Height (5'4") and lack of adams apple. My shoe and hand sizes aren't too bad either, but I have stumpy little fingers lol... but I've seen many cis women with thicker fingers.

Tall (5'9" is just right for me), slender, long legs and enough curve at my hips to not be a straight line! I had a relatively nice canvas to start transition.
Also small hands with long fingers. And everystore has my shoe size! And I inherited ridiculously strong hair with natural waviness from my father. And people say my lips are pretty.

Good:
Small shoulders.
Andro face, really could go either way, and look cute doing it.
Good genetics from my mom, dealing with hips and butt. Hopefully HRT will bring those out one day.
Nice long wavy hair, no hair loss.
Good eyebrows to work with.

Neutral:
Okayish height, still taller than most girls, only met one other Hispanic chick my height.
Never had bad genetics dealing with body fat or muscle, but I also didn't have a feminine body structure. I was just literally a stick.

Working against me:
Deep voice, gonna be a challenge training it.
Big veiny hands and feet.
Coarse body hair, all over my body.
Ribcage is pretty big, it juts out over my stomach, even when its full.

My brain, I suppose. Although I'm guessing that's not really what you meant.

Hmm.. well I have very thin wrists (I can easily touch my fingers together around them), and what have been called 'pianists hands', with long, relatively slender fingers. Maybe my eyes, I don't know, naturally long eyelashes have drawn quite a few comments. Kinda wide hips, I guess, at least proportionately. I haven't really considered it too much.

I too have slim wrists, which bugged me as a guy but which pleases me nowadays! I'm also quite fond of my eyes.

Negatives - probably the amount of scars I have accumulated over the years of being a really manly type  :P and puberty really kicked the sh*t out of my skin lol!

A slightly too large nose aside, my face is very androgynous, and though I'm by no stretch of the imagination good looking (I'm probably closer to the "ugly" side of the spectrum, actually~), I'm happy that I was born plain looking with androgynous features instead of gorgeous looking with heavily-chiseled, masculine ones. :) My feet, though large by women's standards, are still small enough that finding female shoes isn't a headache, my hands are small, with long, slender fingers, and I've always been built quite frailly, with narrow shoulders and not much muscle on my upper body. For whatever reason, I also wound up with fairly big hips for a guy, which will with any luck become some quite nice curves through the magic of hormones.

All in all, a visible Adam's apple and a somewhat above-average height aside, I drew a pretty lucky genetic hand. Now I've just got to get on HRT before the male pattern baldness that my mum's side of the family is famous for comes a knocking. :D

Honey, you cut it 10/10 not a question, even if you'd sound like a grizzly bear, he he. Which I'm quite sure you don't. Sexyyyy :)

Thick, wavy hair, a closed hairline, almond shaped eyes, high cheekbones, a small tapering jaw, a small pointy chin,   a very smooth,  wrinkleless, poreless looking skin, all over, no beardgrowth, no bodyhair,  a bubble butt (mixed heritage here)

Oh sorry, what works for ME?

My legs, my butt, my nose, my cheek-bones, my feet and my hands - as I'm told (I thought they could be just a tad smaller), my voice - I AM TOLD also!!!
My eyes (sparkling, I'm also told), my being pretty hairless (by now), the way I walk and move, AND THE WAY A LAUGH, I know - and I'm also told. I'm not gawky or awkward, got 'moves' as one might call it :)
The way I feel sexy and femme in the presence of males (mostly)... my dress sense, my liking and being able to walk in heels - females, FAAB comment ;)

What is not working too well...: shoulders one size bigger then my butt, and my age makes me less desirable to the type of male I would (possibly) find attractive. I'm more of a lesbian (at heart :-)
I do like females A LOT and NOT just sexually  ::)

Over-sized green eyes with long lashes, high cheekbones, full lips, dark blond hair with no hair-loss, no hair on my torso, substantial hips and ass especially compared to my waist, long long legs, very slender bone structure all over, a female-range voice and my light spattering of freckles. I lub my freckles.

I got quite a bit of genetic luck. Doesn't mean there aren't things I hate about my body. But there is good in with the bad.

Tall, thin, good skin, natural blond hair, a hint of a curve at my hips, cute lil' rear I've been told

these are features I am quite thankful for!!

and I've always been very healthy which doesnt hurt either ;)

Good question, as I'm still pre-anything and hiding behind a lot of maleness.

Good things...I have a medium frame for my height; years of martial arts (and walking wherever I can) kept muscle development centered around my core/legs.  I have healthy hair that grows incredibly fast (I can make a nice yearly donation to various wig charities when I'm minded to).  I'll add hips to the list as soon as I drop another 7-10lbs

Big nose works against me. Big chest. Also against.

Relatively small hands for my size. I have about the same size hands as my mom, who is 5'4. While I'm 5'9.
Small adams apple too.  Shoulders arent incredibly broad. Shape of my face might work.

My ability to alter my voice is actually probably better than all the stuff I just listed above. As my sister said when hearing my female voice for the first time: "You sound more like a girl than I do!" Meanwhile, I like to creep my friends out (the ones that know) by being in female form and switching to my deep manly voice. It really freaks them out! I mean just imagine this rather petite girl (5'4", size 6) speaking like Izaac Haynes, especially when you never met her in boy mode!.

It literally took me no practice whatsoever to get there. I have always been very good at altering my voice.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

Feminine eyes, cheekbones, height (5'5), not hairy, and big butt are natural features that work in my favor.

Plain Jane

Well let's see. My boobs developed very nicely (thank you Mom for the genetics on that). I usually fit a shoe size US 8½, European 39. While I am probably taller than the average Dutch woman, I am still within the normal range and don't stand out for being very tall. Among Dutch males I was definitely on the small side. When visiting my relatives in the U.S. on the other hand I am quite tall (5' 10"; the Dutch are a tall people). Before I transitioned I was also not a very big muscular guy, which works to my advantage now. As someone mentioned earlier, I too have small wrists and ankles.

My face doesn't stand out for having very masculine features, except for my largish nose (runs in the family on my father's side).

Good topic, trying to find the good things in yourself. I am by nature a pessimist so I usually focus on everything that is wrong.

Good:

-Short-ish feet for a man. I'm a US women's size 8 to 9 (assuming the shoe is wide), and perhaps they will shrink further with HRT.
-I think my eyes almost look cute. Yeah, almost ~.
-Good voice. Even though it's not quite where I want it (can't cry, laugh, shout; very limited pitch range...) someone else with a 100 % passable voice told me she envied mine, so it's got to be okay. I don't know if it'll get much better, though, since I probably have more training than most: I've never had an actual male voice, and have been doing my best to sound as good as possible since the start of puberty, so I've actually practiced 24/7 for 10 years or more.
-Hair that's somewhat easy to work with, if I ever "get the trick", according to my hairdresser: good colour; relatively straight; thick.
-Little to no balding/thinning.
-Hips larger than the male average and that are being enlarged a little by HRT, it seems.
-Okay-looking cheekbones.

Neutral:

-Slightly below average height for a guy (165 cm / 5'5), but 90-95 % girls are shorter than I.
-Shoulders that are too broad, but I've seen much worse.
-Okay-ish nose. I still want it corrected (if it doesn't look better after a while on HRT), but unlike some others', I don't think it would be an actual non-pass element. Its size is okay, but it has a very large base at its bridge, which makes it look much larger than it is in reality.
-Square jaw, but it's not so large, actually.
-Square, male-type hairline, but some females' look that way, too, so I guess it's not the end of the world.
-Relatively gifted mother in the breasts department, but I've yet to know if that will be reflected in me. Zero visible growth yet, after all. Everyone in the family is fatter than I, after all, and her breasts are just "above average", no more.

Bad:

-Tremendous amounts of thick body hair, still obvious right after a shave for some, like on the arms, (they're individually too thick; we see them and their pores) almost everywhere, from fingers to toes, but HRT looks like it's starting to help, gladly. I'll be screwed if it turns blond but remains, though. I can forget laser, in that case.
-Medium to large bone frame, depending on the bones.
-Super thick (high and wide) feet.
-Very large rib cage, enough to make it hurt a little to touch my waist with my elbows, which is actually the normal way for a human to stand.
-Way above average muscle mass, despite zero training, notably in the thighs, arms and neck.
-Manly hands just like bear paws: huge paws, er, palms and short, thick fingers.
-"Hard coded" belly and waist fat present since my birth.
-Natural tendency to put on weight despite healthy eating.
-Chin that is shorter than some, but split and undeniably male.
-Large Adam's apple (which has frustratingly appeared just a year before HRT, whilst I was waiting for the go-ahead).
-Undeniably male forehead and which absolutely must be entirely hidden to have the slightest hope of passing.
-Very bushy, hard to work with eyebrows.
-Low ability to learn by myself and experiment, especially manual/visual things, so clothes, make-up and hair styling are going to be hard to get into.
-Low ability to make friends and blend in with people, so the support of friends and "tips from girl friends" are out of question due to the absence of such people.
