Hello all, I came here a while back in January of 2006. I've been away from here for some time. In May I lost my job after 14 years. I got depressed big time. I'm better now but now this has cut into my thoughts on transitioning. I still like to wear womens cloths and I keep the hair off of me. I just do it out of habit. I had a lot of time to think about myself. I'm still moving forward but at a slow pace than before. I wonder if I will ever transition at all. THe first priority is to find a job and start over again as anyone that has had to start a new job knows. I've come here once in a while to look around but never posted. After thinking for a bit I decided this is still the place to be so I am back. I hope to be on more as I have a few thoughts I'd like to share.

Just wanted to drop a note.

Sweety, I'm about to make that big step to voluntarily quit my job and start over.

I'm scared to death, but I WILL make it.  I know you will too.

I was wondering why we haven't seen anything from you in awhile, Linda Ann.  I'm so sorry you lost your job and had to deal with that kind of upheaval.  And I hope it wasn't lost because of who you are.

It's tough to start somewhere new after 14 years on the same job but I know it can be exciting and wonderfully fulfilling too.  Good luck with your search and I hope you never become an MIA from our home here again.

Nice to see you back, Linda.

We might not have all the answers, but we do have soft shoulders.
