My insurance is finally covering my T so I might switch from injections to androgel... my question is... if I switch over to andro gel will the changes I have got'n from the injections just stay the same or would I continue to get changes with androgel? I ask this b/c the gels are slower with changes than injections, and since my changes have been extremely slow on injections I was wondering if  it would be worth it to go on andro gel? I don't know if it would make my changes even more slower or if I would get any changes at all on androgel...?

Edit: Also wondering if you get more or less acne from androgel or if it just stays the same as you have it now b/c your switching to a different type of T and the way it's taken?

Casey - For T, I'm considering gel. Where do you put it/how long do you leave it on? I've heard you're not allowed to have contact with people or animals for a certain time after you take the gel and that miiight be an issue considering that 99.9% of my job involves having physical contact with people/their faces. D:

Dominick - I think your changes depend on how your body meshes with the hormones, really. Everyone's experiences with T(injection, cream, gel, pills) vary because of their own makeup, as far as doctors have explained to me.

Ah got'cha! I guess I could put it on while I'm getting ready for work and wear a shirt with longer sleeves, problem solved. I was worried that I'd have to wait a few hours before having any physical contact, and when you're an optician...haha that doesn't exactly work. Thanks!

I've only been on testogel (probably the same product) and as far as changes go, i haven't had any problems. Testosterone is still being absorbed by my body, it says in the instructions that it dries in a few minutes but from my experience it is actually around 10 minutes to fully dry and I feel as though I can put my shirt on. As I said changes still happen so don't be worried, it will keep your t levels high and not much research has been done into whether or not gel produces slower changes

I switched from injections (sustanon) to androgel about three months ago. Like you, I believed gel changes would be slower, but, I got more hair (body and face) and my voice broke and lowered again in the last three months, while it was stable on injections. It doesn't guarantee that this will happen for you, but for me it's better on gel. I never had much trouble with acne so I can't say anything on that.
