lol, talking about my doggy in this case, the young Jake. I can put stuff on his plate and if I put any pickles, he'll eat around them.

It was my mom's bday so I cooked for her and the fam @ my place:
Pà amb tomàquet
White Garlic and Almond Gazpacho with Grapes
Rockfish with Chiles de Arbol, Sherry Vinegar, and Garlic
Paella Negra (first time I ever made a 'negra' and I didn't use nearly enough squid ink ) with Squid and Shrimp
and of course...CUPCAKES! (I didn't make them though)

after what was it last week? the week before? when it came up, I decided I really really wanted one haha, and tonight was a good excuse
Not my best work, but the taste was right, just the look was off. I've got some left and I'd be happy to share it

  One piece of chicken, plus potatoes, sugar snap peas and salad from the garden.  My belly is shrinking, so I am helping it along with the single piece of chicken instead of 2 or 3.

I suppose I could get fresh, whole squid down at the docks (I can sometimes see the squid boats working at night, with the rigging all lit up), but I would have no clue how to find and remove the ink sacs.

A very disappointing bowl of shredded wheat which I actually thought was frosted shreddies.
To those of you who haven't had shreddies before its a bit like thinking your putting a glazed donut in your mouth then realising its actually a plain riveeta.
