Pretend

So, I really dont know where to start my introduction out at.  I didnt want to lurk around for too long and never introduce myself though.

We'll just go with this for now I guess. (this is all new to me... never said any of this to anyone.)

Anyway, for quite some time I've been struggling with who I am.  I really dont think I know at all anymore.  For as long as I can remember I have prefered to be feminine.  I dont know when but years ago I started having thoughts, fantasies, dreams, desires, whatever they are of being a woman but I dont onow when they started.  I have spent my whole life convincing myself that most of these things would go away and I'd be no"normal" but I think theyve jusy gotten worse.  I used to dress before the single army life and i dont even really know why.  It just felt good.  I was more comfortable being a woman than a man, its like a true release.  I have now went off and gotten married and I love my wife to death... but I just dont know.  I think my biggest fear was rejection and now I dont want to hirt the people that are close to me too.  The internet is all I have to turn to.

Sorry for it not making much sense... like I said this is a first and I am rushing before I lose the nerve.  Also, sorry for the typos, I'm on phone internet in Afghanistan... and rushing. lol

Hi Pretend, welcome to Susans and thank you for your service. I  was sending care packages to Basrah last year, I'm all about helping the troops. Just like your present employer, we have a rulebook and we follow it, look in the Announcements section. See you around, hugs, Devlyn

Hi Pretend, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 7571  strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Hi Pretend,

Thank you for supporting your country and people around the world.

I'm in Australia and I'm thankful for all who help protect us.

There is no reason to be shy or nervous, we all know what fears and problems you have, that is why we are here, to support each other. Keep safe and join in whenever you can

Hugs

Hi Pretend,

Another big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. Certainly nothing wrong with you. You are quite normal. Your present work load is no doubt not helping you in any way, shape or form, so just let it be known we are here for you, until you are able to get to a better position in life and be able to manage your situation better.

As far as we are concerned there is no silly questions, they are all equally important to your development. Being TG, life becomes a series of times and seasons that we go through. So just ask away on how to deal with whatever is important to you.

Be safe,well and happy.
Lotsa huggs
Catherine

I have been lurking around the forums for a while and it makes me feel a little better to know that there are many other people in very familiar situations as I am.  It is also nice to know that there are people oit there that would be there for me when I need them.  I thank you all for the welcomes and I hope that I can stick around and find whatever it is that I need.  I still dont know what that is or if I will ever achieve that, but only time will tell what life holds.

You just need to stick around, and when things get cloudy or whatever, just drop us a line. There is usually someone here most times of the day. And Devlyn serves GREAT scones  (pron; sk-ons-es, not sk-own-es of course   )

Well again, it's pretty simple. Start a post and ask the question. The rest is up to us. The 7,500 odd (as in number, NOT in attitude or social standing      ) that are here. Of course we are not always here together. I don't this the coffee queue could sustain the rush.

Hope to see you around

Be safe, well and happy.
