Ok, so I only need to go to the G.I.D. to start the process, which should take between 3 and 6 months until I get greenlighted for HRT. For now Im trying to decide whether to start going now, or do it when I am prepared. I would have 6 months to do the following things:

- Get the weight from 65 to 60 kg. Losing 5 kg on a month was easy with drepession and loss of apetite, but now it can be much harder

- Reduce muscle mass. I guess this won't start happening until I have killed all the fat deposits. I'll need to focus the exercising on legs. They are too big and muscled at this moment.

- Get a Facial peeling. Too much of an acne / clogged pores problem maintained over the years. Daily cleaning and exfoliation are not enough

- Electrolysis. Face only for now.

- Fix my mind problems. It will need to be parallel. I won't be able to go to full social mode on half a year, but a improvement will help.

- Fix some sort of weird red / mini wart on my nose (200€): If it can be hidden with make up, it could wait until I finish electrolysis.

- Make up training: Second hardest problem. Should pospone it until I finish buying all the basic equipment and I can get enough privacy.

- Eyebrow shaping: Can cause a serious disaster If I still am on stealth mode. I'd better If I use photoshop to do some virtual tests

- Voice training: Not sure If I will be able to do this. My voice is rather raspy and everything I try ends on coughs. Being at home will raise a lot of suspicions (I can't even use the xbox's headset without everybody coming to see a circus, sing, etc)

In the end, money is going to be the worst part. If I start on electrolysis, it means no expending on clothing ot other things until I am finished. Since RLI is not needed anymore and  I will still be on stealth mode for a long time, I think I will do the removal slowly.

So, not sure if I can work all of this on 6 months and be ready for the big changes. The exercising part will eat most of my time, since I need to be working on the body twice per day. Am I missing anything? I really want to jump already, but I'm afraid I may make a mistake with the therapyst and they decide I don't need this.

The word "gestapo" entered my head as I read this. I'm feeling incredibly frustrated for you. Do you not have any boundaries set down or have any sort of privacy? When I turned fifteen, I bought a lock for my bedroom door and fitted it myself. Before then, I jammed a piece of wood under the door to prevent unannounced intruders. This is how I could cross dress in privacy and whatnot.

Regarding voice training. Can you not close your door and play some music to mask your training?

Music is like a magnet for my parents. They will come to argue on a moment. And since my room is next to theirs, forget about talking and not being heard. I can only do these things when I am alone, and since all of us have the same working time...

It took me years until I managed to force them into knocking to the door before entering, and they still get pissed about it. Of course I have warned them with putting a lock, but they menaced me with kicking me out of their house.
So everything depends on getting the job and moving away. They have been stepping over me like forever. Of course, In the moment they knew about this they decided that they wanted me to leave as soon as possible. If it was that easy... It will be better if I finish face electrolysis before leaving, or I won't be able to afford renting and buying food.

At my support group this evening one of the girls was talking about facial hair, and that she had a lot removed fairly quickly by laser, and is getting the more persistent ones done with electrolysis.  it has gone much faster than electro alone.

As for makeup, the need for that will be reduced once your facial hair starts to reduce. Also remember that as in a lot of areas, less is more really does work.  The temptation is always to put on "just a little bit more".

Have you tried speaking more softly? just a little can give a very different impression, especially if your voice is a little husky.  That can be very sexy.  >:-)

Working on the inside is always the most important priority, as you will need a fair bit of resilience to cope with the bad periods we all face from time to time.  It sounds like you have already achieved a fair degree of patience.  That is a big help.

Karen.

The fact is, I almost never use my real voice unless I'm really pissed of. Since I need to be extra careful when talking to vips, had to develop an intonation for using a language that's not my native one and I have to work face to face, I always use a more reduced tone, higher pitched and with a bit of melody, but it's rather hard to do other things, such as falsetto. It's quite hard to move to others.

Luckily, I have the kind of beard you can easily count each hair, with the neck being the only bushy area. I believe I still have a photo with the record of how much bear I managed to grow... It's too hilarious.

First, let me say that you don't have to get everything done quickly. For example, electrolysis works more effectively after you start anti-androgens while on HRT. As for your body hair, any existing hair won't change, but the new hairs that come in will likely be smaller, blond, and grow slower (Vellus hairs). Also, your skin's sebaceous glands will produce less oil, making acne less prominent. If anything, dry skin will be your major concern.

Next, muscle mass should be a problem. Testosterone is the advantage in muscle building for guys, so without it, your muscle mass will decrease on its own. If anything, you'll have to deal with something referred to as androgen withdrawal, which causes symptoms like fatigue and cold intolerance.

Lastly, get your financial priorities straightened out. I know how difficult it can be to wait, but try to stabilize your finances before getting electrolysis or buying anything for transition. I looked into it, and it can be pricey.

PS--> I didn't start my transition yet, so the effects of HRT I listed are common effects that can have exceptions (albeit few) which I learned of through research in class (I'm a biological science major). The only 100% guarantee is that your muscle mass will decrease. Even female bodybuilders need to use synthetic testosterone to get to huge proportions. You can still be strong, just not as strong as men or as big.

Ok, taking notes. Clearly I am obsessing...

For now the biggest problem seems to be figuring the correct exercise program. Up to this moment I had a three day muscle program (legs, arms, mid section), and now I have requested endurance training.

If I can get up to six days per week of exercise, I can have three for muscle (If I don't eat like Ron Coleman muscle increase should not be a problem) and three for cardio / endurance (One of this days will mean taking out the bike). Looks good on paper. The only problem is that I will need to buy more gym clothing...

About the skin... I get oil, grease , big open pores and sweat non stop (God bless HRT if it mitigates this), and at the same time I have a dry T-Zone, but nothing that two daily applications of skin cleaner and moisturizer can't fix.

You're not obsessing, you're being thorough.  ;D

Anyway, HRT should would to reduce poor size, oil secretions, sweat, and body odor. However, DO NOT expect it to work overnight. It can take several months for full effects to kick in.

As for exercise, if it helps, I'll give you my schedule. I'm not that big (I weight 155 lb /// 70.5 kg). I just look big based on proportions. I recommend doing gymnastics and advanced calisthenics for the biggest portion of strength training. You can throw in some squats//weighted pull-ups, but that's all I'd recommend from weight training.

This is a 3-day cycle --> 1. Strength training//Sprints   ------ 2. Biking//Technical skill work.  ------ 3. Easy day (Yoga//One-Mile Repeat runs)

Thus, you technically do each workout 3 times in a 7-day period.

Look up progressions for planche push ups, front lever pull ups, one arm pull ups, one legged squats (Jumping and weighted), handstand push ups, glute-ham raises. These exercises provide great strength, but not much size or mass, even for guys. (I can bench 380 lbs at 155 lbs thanks to planche push ups). Also, ring work will provide immense strength benefits. Also, do total body workouts since they are simply more convenient.

Skill training include progressions to handstands, planches, front levers, etc. (You have to be able to hold the positions before dynamic exercises are possible.)

I recommend vinyasa yoga. It provides flexibility and is a great workout.

One-mile repeats are basically just running one-mile as quickly as you can and then repeating these one mile runs as many times as you want. I find running a short distance fast repeatedly to be more effective than running a long distance slowly.

Also remember to rest when you need it.

Finally, keep a clean diet!!!!

Good Luck.  :)

Technically impossible. To put it simple, my work is too demanding on time, so I only have 45 minutes left for exercising each day (120 on saturdays). I can only do one thing per day before working. On september I could try to get into afternoon gym classes, but... For the moment, If don't have any unexpected things to do, I can do a few exercises that don't require equipment at home (free squats, lungs, abs, etc).

My gym is too far from home or work (half an hour to reach it, and the same time to come back. I'm waiting until the open a new one next to my home, but it's taking forever.

On the exercises... I have knee problems, so I am incapacitated for a lot of things Can't run (only biking), and need to be extra careful with exercises that will cause impact on them. Legs exercises are a bitch for me.

->-bleeped-<-. Being stuck here everyday is killing me. I start working late on the morning (9:00), A lunch time of one hour and a half that means one hour of doing nothing every day, and leaving fairly late constantly (18:00). If I start living on my own, I won't have any time for exercising anymore.
