Before hormones... I was very anti-social. The year before I started I actually made a couple friends... but CONSTANTLY avoided them and never really hung out.
After hormones, I turned around and started really enjoying doing things with people (instead of it just pulling me away from things I would rather be doing).
QuoteI have a question, how do you make friends? every so called friend ive had close by i had to make an effort to try to keep... they would never talk to me i would have to seek them out...
Well, making friends is actually pretty easy

Basically... say hello (people new to town make great pickins too haha, since they need friends).
I make friends in 2 ways.
1) People at work / school I just chat with... and, after work or class, just an easy invite of "hay, want to go grab some food?" is a great way to start friendship (or, just hang out with people). After that, you start going out more... and eventually start hanging out at eachothers houses... and... tada friends.
2) Facebook! I cyber-bug people ALLLLLL the time. When I see someone that I think would be fun to be friends with ... I send an invite (like if i see something they post on a co-workers wall or something that I like). If they accept, then I start sending "Hey, hows it going" type things when I see them online. I generally joke around a lot online and just like chatting... so get to know strangers

When they seem like they would be fun to hang out with (and if they live close) I invite them to do something.
Actually, there is a couple (with a few kids) moving here soon that I met online (from the above method). Even though we haven't even met, we are already friends

So when they get to town we will definitely have dinner or do something (yayyy).
And, of course, friends have their own friends...and you get to know them...and some become your friends... and... well... yup, just social.
I have actually been having a little trouble balacing the new social aspect of life. Sometimes I spend too much time hanging out and don't get things I need done

But, overall, it is a lot of fun getting to know new people
