how do I add a picture into post without having to host the picture on the internet, like the avatar pic I uploaded?

click the image icon (looks like a little nature scene with trees), the copy the url inside the brackets.

That's not the answer she was looking for Nero, and i must admit i don't know the answer to that one.

you can post into the gallery here Then you can copy the image url properties (right click on image)
<img]https://www.susans.org/forums/gallery/813_21_02_07_3_40_00.jpg[/img>
(replace the <> with [] brackets)
