Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Hi Pema and Chrissy.  It was a nasty storm, a lot of wind-driven icy rain.  It was a perfect day for homemade chicken soup and crusty bread.

Parts of the US got nailed by deep snowstorms, so we were lucky.

I work in Rockefeller Plaza, and today is the Christmas Tree Lighting.  It is fun to watch on TV, but not to work anywhere near it.  I am working from home today.  The crowds are insane, with lots of street lockdowns for security.  It takes three hours of TV performances before they even light it.

I'm ok seeing it tomorrow.

I figure I'd change my avatar for the Christmas season.  What the hell...

Gorgeous Pic Sister!!! 💕🤗💕
"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment" ... Ralph Waldo Emerson 🌸

"The individual has always had to struggle from being overwhelmed by the tribe... But, no price is too high for the privilege of owning yourself" ... Rudyard Kipling 🌸

Let go of the things that no longer serve you... Let go of the pretense of the false persona, it is not you... Let go of the armor that you have worn for a lifetime, to serve the expectations of others and, to protect the woman inside... She needs protection no longer.... She is tired of hiding and more courageous than you know... Let her prove that to you....Let her step out of the dark and feel the light upon her face.... amg🌸

Thank you all for your compliments.  They mean a lot.

I have come a long way.  The first time someone told me I was pretty, it made me very angry.  I guess I was fighting for my male ego and I didn't want to believe that I was transgender and a woman.  "Pretty" is what you say to a woman and I wasn't ready to accept who I am.

It has been a struggle.  Fortunately, my friend Jenn always insists on taking my photo when we go out.  Over time I started to looked forward to it.  I am finally ok with compliments.  I am finally ok with being me.

A warm hug to you all!
