Quote from: Petunia on May 05, 2026, 03:53:04 PMI feel for you Charlotte. I tend to let things pile up but then get disgusted and have to do something about it.

If I'm not depressed it's a lot easier to do, but if depressed, well.

Maybe get yourself a maids outfit. (I know you like costumes) dress up, pick a small space, set a 20 minute timer and go for it.

Once the time is up go have a shower and wash your clothes.

No wearing that outfit unless you are cleaning.

IDK if that works for you.

If you can get things cleaner then your mood lifts with it.

Thank you Petunia. Thats a great idea actually as I've had my eye on a really cute pink one incl. bloomers and its short too. Already have one I wore with my bunny fursuit too. I'll put a pic up on my page as its cute.

You go girl.

You don't have to do too much in one go, just as long as you enjoy your time dressing up and playing cleaning.

No matter how much you achieve just be satisfied it is better than before.

Wait...

That's all it takes?

Oh, great. Now I gotta go buy a sexy maid outfit!

Thanks, Pet!

Whatever Charlotte can benefit from to get her house cleaning chores done sounds good.
It is really not that much fun to do it just has to get done though.

I will usually do my home cleaning in an old T shirt or sweatshirt, and shorts.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

This is just a general statement below, it is not directed any one of course.

The more we focus others the smaller our woes can appear to be.
We still must be responsible and take care of ourselves.
But being other centered can be quite healthy an attitude.

So true Chrissy.  I love reading what everyone else is going through, the good and bad, but especially when something bad turns around.

Compared to most others here I really don't have too many problems.

Funny enough, after posting to Charlotte I went into our "mess room" which is where all my clean clothes end up on the bed as there is no room to put them away... the main wardrobe is mostly my wifes clothes so I am a little bit squeezed.

So for the first time I had to face throwing old clothes out.  12 tees became rags, half a dozen button up shirts donated, another dozen tees donated, and my cycling jerseys!  I had over 30, but to be fair they are differnt thicknesses for different weather. So I got rid of a dozen of those.

Now all the stuff lying around has been put away, I have space for my femme clothes and can find them and their is space left over.

I have a real problem throwing away clothes before they fall apart. It doesn't matter how stretched out, stained or holed.... at that stage they become yard clothes.  That has to stop if my wardrobe is going to shift directions

So thank you Charlotte for helping me see.

I was never the cool kid. I was the one the cool kids came to for answers on test questions

Cool and me do not belong in the same sentence.

Charlotte, another idea is pick some upbeat music, play maybe 8 to 10 songs and lose yourself while you clean.

When the music finishes clean up and hug your boyfriend

I do not really have much to say right now.  Nothing "big" is going on.  Just the usual things.

Thinking about a possible vacation.  But I usually talk about that in the travel topic within Hobbies.

So, nothing much interesting to share right now.

Hugs,

Chrissy
