Are you doing anything in particular on New Year's Eve this year?

Whether or not you will be with someone, remember that you have us here.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Just at home with my boyfriend. Will probably get an Indian takeaway from the nice local place though.

My days of going out clubbing through midnight are long gone! Sometimes barely want to stay up until midnight 😆

I'm with Kathy 100% on this one!

However, PTSD and fireworks don't mix well. So we will see.

I do enjoy the fireworks show on TV from Sydney, Australia. It also doesn't run past midnight.

Asleep, after a lifetime of shift work I go to bed at 2300 every night.

Nothing planned. Will watch the festivities on tv and watch the ball drop in time square and then going to bed.

I'm not particularly excited about 2026 and it's possible that it will end up being a difficult year for me on a personal level but then again it's hard to predict a year. Life is very unpredictable so one never knows. Maybe I am pleasantly surprised. Usually I am more of an optimist than a pessimist so I have to watch my inner speech and attitude.

I'm with you on this one too, feeling sick in the stomach everytime I think about going into 2026.

But I'm sure that we are both strong and resilient to face anything that comes, expected or not. Like you say you never know too...things may at least be a little kinder than anticipated. Hopefully there will also be lots of valuable moments and experiences to balance everything out.

I'm rooting for you and wishing you strength and a great new year 🙂
