Their Name is Signal

Just today I decided to show my sister a picture of me as my feminine side dressed in a shirt and a long sleeve crop top shirt with my thigh high stockings on and some heels, and she hasn't responded to me yet.  I know she is working or she doesn't know the right thing to say to respond but I did it.  I showed someone in my family the true me.

That was very brave! I hope you get a good reply from her.

When I told my cousin that I was transgender, she asked to see some photos. I sent her three or four. Her reply was precious. She said, "Cuz, don't take this the wrong way, but you are a prettier woman than you were a handsome man."

That made my day!

Good luck!

Love Lori's cousin's response!

I hope your sister's reaction is just as positive and just as loving.

Well everyone this was the outcome she goes "you look good,id rock that outfit actually" she still recommended that I look into therapy and that I get a primary Dr to look into some of my weight issues.

Lori Dee

That is awesome news! Glad she is supportive.

It sounds like you two have a common fashion sense. That could lead to asking for advice on different outfits. And it works both ways. She might start asking you.

Thank you for the update!

That is not a bad response. Just keep things light and lay things on her in small doses. Try not to shock her (for example show pictures of yourself in regular day to day woman's clothing instead of you in more sexy clothing). An initial picture in a crop top and thigh highs can give some family members a speed wobble to process it. Keep things light, the shock factor low and she might warm up to you.

That sounds like a caring, supportive sister. That's great!
