Oh Iove crumbles the best. The blackberries not great this year because of the heat though.  Glad you have some nice fruit to try though.

I've been eating courgettes with everything as my two plants are doing great. Sweetcorn to come soon!

My back garden is thick with the nicest tasting blackberries ever. There are tons of them, the brambles are nearly as tall as my house! I usually go blackberry picking at some point through the year, didn't think I would be doing it in my own back garden ha ha! They will have to go sadly but not till I've got a harvest off them!

I won't be getting a crop of apples till next year Danielle. I hope you're not too hungry! Crumbles are off the menu until I get my weight down, but this time next year I'm going to don my apron and get to it.

Been a bit bored tonight so I've asked google Gemini to change my hair colour in this pic to my natural colour. Do you think I suit it or would I be better off colouring it to match my wig colour? I think in reality it is a bit more blonde than this but it's reasonable close. I like my natural highlights but wonder if blonder would be better. It does sound expensive to be colouring hair though. It could be a glimpse of future me though.

It looks a bit strange to me as I've gotten used to the more bleached/ platiunum blonde look but I think I could rock this. I would love to be free of the wig, it looks great but it is uncomfortable after a wile, and I am fearful of going out in the wind! fearful of it getting wet etc.

You don't think it makes me look a bit bland do you?

The highlights aren't added, that's what my natural hair looks like. It's why I have dificulty in saying what colour it is. That and the fact it gets blonder in the sun, darker in the winter. I asked google to add highlights and it came up with this but I think maybe it's a bit too much?

I think the first pic looks better. Very natural and the colour is nice with the highlights.
Second pic is also nice, but I like #1 better.
Hair getting blonde in the summer is a nice variation that makes it get an outside-in-the-sun vibe.

Well I'm headed back to hospital for an Ultrasound of my pelvis and abdomen. Still trying to find out why I've got fluid pooling in my legs. The prescribed water tablets seeem to be helping though so that's a good thing.

I'm a little concered about getting scanned, never had anyone look inside me before lol! A little worried in case they find something "else"

I've been fasting since 6:00 pm last night and not even allowed my morning coffee. Bit of a bummer really.

All done at the scan now. Another quite afirming experience from teh hospital again in stark contrast to mey GP Practice. I was collected from the waiting room by a male nurse who took me to the scanning room where there was a female sonographer. She drew a curtain around the two of us so the "male" nurse could not see to protect my dignity then asked me to remove clothes. It's little touches like this that have restored my faith in our medical service regarding treatment of trans people. I did not ask for any of this, it just happens automatically. She was really nice and kind, I felt totally at ease.

The only drawback is having to wait 14 days for a GP appointment to discuss the results. I've chosen a different female GP this time as the last one was clearly either uncomfortable with trans issues or worse, a trans hater!

Don't think they will assist me with the HRT unfortunately. They might assist me with bloodwork though which would save a few pounds.

My plan now is to get the diagnosis privately and get onto the HRT privately but at the same time get a referral and booked in for an orchie. Once the orchie is done the GP HAS to provide estrogen as it is no longer considered a specialist service it is merely a maintenance prescription and because I will nolonge have natual source of hormones it would be harmful to withold it. This is all about liability and doctors covering their backsides against getting sued. Once the HRT becomes a non specialised treatment they have to prescribe it otherwise I can report them.

The ridiculous situation has forced my hand into getting surgery when it could have quite easily been dealt with with drugs. The long term cost of private GnRH injections means the orchie is a no brainer. The GP's are directly forcing their patients to go under the knife rather than help them. It's nuts (pardon the pun!)

I know you don't like some of the things I say, but I'm going to direct you back several pages here. I hope that things work as well as you are expecting them to, but I don't necessarily think this is going to be as smooth as you describe above.
