I'm a Heggenheimian witch. But I don't think you mean anything like that; Heggenheim is about the world between reality and fantasy; between wake and dream. It's rather fascinating, but it's not like shamanism, in that it recognises the realm of reality being real, and fantasy, dream and the astral plane as not being real. (Not that they aren't exciting and fascinating; just not real.)
So a spirit totem, though it offers much insight and wisdom, isn't real.
But I always enjoy talking with Shamans, as there are a lot of things we have in common. And that is mostly travel, I admit.
