You now deny your intimate affair with the ceramic lady?  :D

Nay, but I assumed you were chiding me for a boozing that never took place :).

Studying Japanese by watching youtube videos with several different subs.

And running. I felt really miserable and cranky until I finally pushed myself out and ran for 5km. After that, the evening was great. :)

I had the first of three interviews for a new job last week. I told them I am trans as I plan to go full time in the next couple of months. The called me today and requested I resubmit all the paper work with my preferred name and gender on it as they want to make sure they get used to the right way the first time. They also said that they would prefer me to present female so it does not cause any confusion when they use female pronouns. I think this is a really good sign  ;D ;D ;D

That's not a good sign, that's a fantastic sign.
If they want you to re-submit the forms & have said they would prefer you to present as female to avoid confusion.
It sounds to me like you have that job in the bag

Best wishes for the job, may the force be with you :)

Last night actually.  It is my Birthday today but with everything that has happened, good and bad over the last week I had forgotten.  Two of my closest friends hadn't though and did a surprise dinner for me, roast followed by cake.  Made me feel very appreciated which I needed, and restored my self-esteem no end.

Karen.

Happy Birthday

I had my meeting about getting a place to live, because of my depression, insomnia & severe excema they are thinking about putting me in a supported housing scheme.
This means I would get at least one visit per week by a care assistant, to ensure my physical & mental health are good.

this would be handy because when my excema gets bad i'm unable to put creams on my back, it's hard at the best of times but sometimes my skin gets so bad I can barely bend my arms.

It will take at least 2 weeks to get a reply & then i've got to bid on a place & hope, at least the balls rolling & my ex is now happy.
She's also happy that even though i've barely slept in the last week i'm still doing a 1/2 hr walk each wayto visit her in hospital & take in supplies, her family are 100 miles away, it's really helped to mend broken bridges

I finally filled my "Goodwill" box. Which means I can drop it off and have that empty space in my closet again.

I walked really fast with spurts of running for 24 minutes while playing "Zombies, Run!"

Every dark cloud has a silver lining, we just have to look for it and often times it's hard to see until it's all in the rear view mirror. Hang in there hon!

Broken, by Susan Jane Bigelow. Story and characters, but also I'm really enjoying her writing style. It turns out to be the first of a series, so I'm on book 2 now. I said 'scifi' because that covers a very broad spectrum - it's about superhero(in)es, but in a very human context.

Seeing a Happy Birthday from Cindy.  :) Amongst other things in general, nothing in particular.
