Yesterday was the day from hell.

Today I woke up and realized that the person I feared has no bearing in my life.

I feel free, even if I'm still stuck in a somewhat crappy situation.

I found out that top surgery might be closer for me than I initially thought. Now I'm crossing my fingers that I can get a well paying job lined up for when I graduate so I can start saving.

I have been trying to get rid of a house since 2008. It was about to foreclose. Today, I got some paperwork from my mortgage company. They are going to do a deed in lieu of foreclosure. It is only going to cost me $10, and it won't be a credit hit! Yay!

I also got a letter from the state today. I have been told that I get to have my gender marker changed on my ID.

So, tomorrow I am going to get rid of a house, and get my new ID with my new name on it and a nice F instead of an M. Plus, I am going to go with my friend and get my ears pierced in preparation of going full time on Tuesday! Things are starting to come together. YAY!

Congrats! :D

Quick question: where are you going to get your ears pierced?

Wonderful burst of goodness, Brooke. Couldn't happen to a nicer girl. Have a most fantastic day!!!

Congrats to everyone gong on hormones and Brooke for getting ready for FT.

I adore my pierced ears, it is the only way to wear ear rings. And ear ring shopping is right up there with, shoes, bags, tops, skirts, dresses, lingerie, perfume, make up. Mmm I think I like shopping.

I am going to go to a tattoo parlor. I figure that they will have the steadiest hands to ensure they are pierced evenly. Plus, I am very comfortable in tattoo parlors since I have spent so much time in them.

Thank you. I am so stoked! My mom has already gotten me a pair of earrings and I am so looking forward to wearing them in 6-8 weeks.

I was at the mall in boy mode getting a coffee at the food court. The woman behind the counter was wiping somthing and turned around and said "I'll be with you in a moment ma'am. " I looked around and I was the only one there! I am still smiling from ear to ear! I celebrated by buying myself some new tights.

Welcome to the F side Brooke! We are foxy, feminine, and fantastically fine!

My happy thing today is a nerdy thing. I got my Trollslayer to level 10 in the Warhammer Quest game I play with my friends on Saturdays. 'Helga van Klompf' is now a Daemonslayer!

I'm trying to civilize myself a bit. :P I've been hiding under big baggy clothes since I always have as a way to hide my curves. But now that I am far enough along on T, my curves have mostly diminished (still have a little bit, sadly) and the baggy clothes aren't working. So in preparation for my brother to help me pick out new clothes, I'm also reading some men's forums and stuff.

I'm happy because a lot of guys have the same problems I have. It used to be a trans thing since my shape was quite girly, but now, I'm just having a relatively common men's issue.

Now the hard part. DON'T TOUCH THEM. Except with very clean hands. The first set I got I manged to get infected and had to go on antibiotics. I got told off by my doctor :embarrassed: for being a naughty girl ::)

I went to see my GP today and have a letter to see a therapist in my hands.

I think it is the first time I have been happy in a long time. ;D

Being asked for a date for the first time in my life at my club's holiday potluck from a woman who I haven't seen at the club functions for quite a while.  I accepted without hesitation.  We exchanged phone #s and email addresses.  She knows that I'm TG.

  OMG!
