I'm feeling very pleased with myself (sorry, blowing my own trumpet, but I need to squeal a bit). My young just-coming-out trandrogyne friend thinks he's too shy and scared to do anything... but in the last week I've cajoled/encouraged him into joining a really friendly and relevant forum where he's safely blossoming, and he's just emailed a local gender support centre - and it's him doing all this, and that's just so cool! :D :D :D

That is really cool! Yay for your friend.

Got off of work at 11:30 AM EST and have absolutely nothing to do for the rest of the day. BONUS: I'm off tomorrow! Hooray for days off! I've got a new foundation I want to try, too.   :)

Well, I was just having some doubts about my gender and transitioning today, and decided to have a pause from all related media for a while... I decided to just see if I could just back off for a bit and dress in my old female clothes. Tried several of them on, got miserable after a short while. Then tried some of my current clothes on and felt such relief that it just can't be described.

I'm so not going back to girl mode, and even while much of this is still confusing and frightening, being FtA/transmasculine seems to be "it", for me. Every time I have doubts I just get more sure and understand how terrible I used to feel. :icon_ciggy: (But this is still scary as hell, even if I know I'm somehow at last on the right path.)
If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough.

Hi Phoeniks!
I live in the Pacific Northwest just north of Seattle. If you lived in this town you're comfort zone would increase immensely as most women here seem to be lest interested in girly-girl attire and dress in a gender neutral layered look, with jeans T-shirts and hooded sweatshirts.

Last night I was at the Casino Du Montreal. I went to the snack bar and was referred to as mademoiselle. A bit later I was going to use the restroom, I was in boy mode and started heading for the men's room. I got a couple of feet in and was tapped on the shoulder, it was a female security guard "madam! Madam! For hommes, for man!" She then showed me to room for femme.
Top top that off, I hit $700 on the last slot I played with my last $20!

When on some retail therapy at Rivers today. They had a special on skirts.

Came out with my bikini. It wasn't the style, colour, fit, but they did feature predominately; it was the "AH-HA" moment that proceeded its selection. Owing my own bikini has been one of those goal setting things to keep the process going, when the going gets tough.

Still can't wear it till next summer. That was one of the conditions of wearing it. I had to have a legitimate body for it to fit.

Just another affirmation of how right this journey is.

Well where there's smoke, there is fire. We can all see the sparks flying and feel the heat, it's cute and rather sweet to all who are observing! Happy New Year!
