Hi tater! Hugs, Devlyn
Hi!  I'm giving it another shot now that I feel that I've got some personal issues a bit more settled and some stresses in my life are aleviated now.

This week has been good.

For awhile it looked like my plans for moving might fall apart, but that's all fixed now. We're not much closer to finding an apartment, but we have time and leads and people willing to help us.

I had a successful interview with a recruiter, and he's going to forward my information/credentials (I have credentials! I feel so professional!) to the company itself. Hopefully they'll want to interview me; I'd really like this job, please.

I made my first appointment in the process to get HRT, and discovered that someone I follow on Tumblr is on a similar timeframe to me (first appointment in April, hoping to start in June). I might have a T buddy!

I finally filed my taxes. Huzzah!

And to top it off, every day since Sunday has been spent at least in part with people for whom I have a great deal of affection. And tonight I get to fall asleep next to another of those wonderful people.

I haven't used any form of nicotine (cigarettes, patches, lozenges, vaporizor, nothing!) in two days, going on three right now.

I'm feeling okay physically now (the last couple days I felt really ill), but I have the worst brain fog of my life right now! I feel pretty useless, but I'm hoping this passes soon.

I'm just so happy for myself, I've wanted to break free from my addictions for such a long time, and this is the last (and in my opinion hardest) one standing in the way of my freedom from chemical dependence.

I have a snuggle buddy tonight. ;D One that's actually human as opposed to canine. Not that I don't love my dogs, but. :P There's something about the human touch lol.

Yes and I count myself blessed to have someone like you who will be there for me in a sad time  :D. I never thought I'd be able to be close to a guy like that without him expecting some touching.

I woke up next to a wonderful, beautiful woman who loves me.. And, yeah, OK, there might have been a little 'adult snuggling' last night..

I got a lot done today which makes me feel productive. We have lots of food in the fridge and freezer, supper for tomorrow is ready for the slow cooker, Easter is all taken care of, my birthday is all taken care of and I'm looking forward to it, etc. We're all set for a long weekend together that I am really looking forward to.

Getting the car clean made me pretty exuberant. Also having the day off and just being lazy. I like lazy days. :)
Just another girl screaming to be herself.

Spring break really threw off my schedule and I haven't been doing any work lately. At all. I did 2/3 of this week's classwork today so my little spurt of energy has made my day. I can't wait until I get my thyroid under control so I can do more than 3 hours of work without needing to sleep an equal amount.
I did my waiting! Twelve years of it! In [my head!] Azkaban!

My boss likes to give each of his staff members an Easter egg on the last day before the Easter break. This morning he gave me a relatively posh egg: a Thorntons Classic milk chocolate egg, recommended retail price £6.50 (US$10). Wow!

Thanks, Boss! Yum! :)

Got the team I work in a 1.5kg or 3.5p easter egg and watched them gourge themselves silly on it.
A few made themselves sick. I know I am slightly evil but what the heck...
It lasted a day. So much for self control...

So far I have been able to resist the tempatation of the chocolate.

J
So long and thanks for all the fish

waking up next to my fiancee', but not happy at her having to leave at 7.  Happy at following her up the highway a couple of hours later, and being able to spend Easter with her.

I thought Easter wasn't for a couple days? Did I miss something?

Anyway. The workplace coffee place had hazelnut bostock today, and there's tomato bisque for lunch. Oh, and the snow's finally on its way out! :)
Don't lose who you are along the path to who you want to be.

I've been on vacation all week in Key West with my girlfriend. I'm still not out to her yet so I've been in boy mode the whole time. All week when we go into a shop or a restaurant they've been addressing us like "hi girls or hi ladies" and yesterday we went to the gay welcome center to find out a good place to rent bikes. Right before we left, the guy gave us a few brochures and said "this is where the girls are". All week we've been hanging out a a bar with a drag caberet and made friends with the queens. Last night we were there very late, it was pretty much just is and them. There was one that hasn't been there all week and we just met last night. I used my boy name when she introduced herself to me and she said "wait a second!! You're a boy! All night I thought you were a girl. You are f'ing beautiful. How is that even possible" my confidence has shot through the roof because of that.
Another one noticed my boobs and kinda figured out what is going on. She gave me her number to have someone to talk to.

So cool! But this leaves me wondering if your girlfriend was born blind, and is somehow lacking the sense of discernment that most women have? My bet is that she knows full well and is just being patient with you and waiting for you to tell her yourself. Go for it!

I had to attend a different section of my college class today to make up for missing my usual class, and I managed to pass almost the entire 3 hours until one of the instructors filled out some paperwork for me. So close... Can't wait until I get that name change.

I didn't have to go out of my way today to find a new air control valve, they had one at the little hardware store that I have to pass to go to the bank. Now the new one is in and my water pump seems happy enough with it.

I GOT A JOB!!

Wow, I will only be out of work for one day!! Yay! I am so happy. Plus, they will only know me as Brooke, which is an extra bonus.
