So I've obviously never done this before and I plan on it this summer when I finally go full time, but where do I go exactly to do this and what do I say? I honestly have absolutely no idea, thanks for the help again!

I had me eyebrows permanently shaped  by my electrologist to have that nice natural arch. I did only do it once I was full time. Up until that point I did it with scissors and an eyebrow comb.

So, just out of curiosity, what would the effect be if I really was to go in and get my eyebrows shaped in a feminine way, even though I'm still just presenting as a guy in everyday life?

Here one way to look at this how many times in your day to day life do you pay attention to another persons eye brows? My eye brows have been shaped for months I have not heard one commit about it! Even from my coworkers who talk a lot of trash. We tend to put more thought into this than needs to be.

I have mine threaded for £5 every month.I used to do them myself but I need glasses for close up and I can't pluck them wearing glasses.Threading is a lot quicker and kinder to the skin than wax.

I know what you mean, though, most people really don't give a damn. I guess I'm just scared because I have very dark eyebrows when compared to my skin, so I'm afraid that if I get them thinned it would be REALLY obvious, and draw unnecessary attention.

My eyebrows are completely blond maybe they would get noticed if they were darker? But if people are really paying attention to my eyebrows I really don't care at this point! But you should be just fine.

I went in and they thought I was just another guy getting a brow wax. It's fairly common, guys just like to keep them trimmed.

However, when she asked what I wanted I said "as feminine as possible". She asked me a few questions and then asked if I was trans, apparently her sister is a psychologist and she knows a lot about trans people and was very understanding and friendly. Even though I was in guy mode, she immediately offered to call me by my preferred name and instructed the staff to do so and started using the correct pronouns.

So you might be pleasantly surprised sometimes

Threading is great. I even do the vellus (NOT venous) stuff on the rest of my face leaving my skin like silk. Doesn't take too long to learn. A piece of cotton is all you need. Amazing.

I got mine waxed two weeks ago for the first time.  I then went to the gym.  Due to the presence of certain obvious equipment tween my legs, I still use the men's locker room to change.  So that means I went walking into the locker room with:

Long hair
Waxed eyebrows of feminine styling
Shaved, and I'm not talking about the face
Long finger nails
Breast buds

Ain't no one gave me an odd look nor said anything.  Though the clock is moving pretty quickly on the end of my gym membership due to those growing buds.

Still, you can get away with quite a lot if you get things lke your eyebrows done and aren't full time.

Early in transition my eyebrows were meticulous, I just did them myself btw.  Now I pretty much don't even touch them lol, idk why.  Well, I darken them up a bit so they're visible I guess.  Maybe that's why I don't bother with them, they're pretty blonde and just blend into my skin.

Anyway, you can totally do them yourself.  For those worried about how they will look if you present male–if they are super feminine, yeah it will look odd.  However, like other people said, you don't have to go crazy.  Just trim them so the hair is even length and pluck out the stragglers and they'll maybe not look mega feminine but not masculine either.

I get my Eyebrows shaped once a month at the beauticians and at the same time get my eyelashes tinted - normally blue black. Although my beauty therapist has been pressing me to get my eyebrows tinted I haven't done that yet, but probably will son as I have already had 8 LaserIPL sessions on my Uperr lip, lower lip and chin, so the hairs are going rapidly and means I am only shaving now once a week.

Getting a nice feminine curve to your eyebrows says something about you. Same with getting a proper manicure and pedicure or file and polish. My ex SO used to say that the mark of well polished woman was perfectly polished and manicured finger and toenails with a nice matching colour (try OPI)

I get my fingernails and toenails done once a fortnight and that with my makeup these days means I rarely don't pass.. Mind you I am very lucky as I don't have an Adams Apple, plus I have very small hands and my feet are also small (and going down with the daily HRT).
Other things I would really recommend is make sure you get Arms and Underarms waxed once a month, as well as a full leg wax and bikini line. Most beauticians will treat you and there are lots that are Trans friendly. With the softness in the skin that comes with Oestrogen, l waxed legs and thighs feel just wonderful. and silky soft

I have also started on having my breasts and décolleté treated with Laser/IPL as I was very self conscious about my hairs around my aureola and in my cleavage. With these all nearly gone and my budding breasts I can finally wear a plunging bra and low cut tops and dress.

Remember these little things all go together to provide with a better overall presentation.
