Pride Chicago

DATE: Sunday June 24

TIME: 12 Noon

STARTS at:  A new corner this year, Broadway & Montrose.

NEW LINE UP:   North Broadway (both the east and the west curb lanes, from Montrose to Wilson); West Montrose (both the north and south curb lanes from Broadway to Clark) and North Sheridan Road (both the east and the west curb lanes, from Montrose to Sunnyside).

I was down there last year for a photo session last time but couldn't stay, I'll have to make a point to go this year for sure.

I'm sad i'm not going to be able to make it yet again this year.  I'm going to have to work the weekend straight though.  But granted since it's wedding season and I'm a photographer I guess that's to be expected.

I worked in a restaurant on Broadway when I was living there so on that day I was right in the middle of all the actions. I remembered it was so much fun.

I was just in Chicago on a business trip.  The group I swam with while I was there (Chicago Smelts, Lesbian / Gay masters swim club) was talking about the parade.  Unfortunately I am now out of the Chicago area, so I most likely won't be able to attend.
