Pride Chicago

STARTS at:  A new corner this year, Broadway & Montrose.

NEW LINE UP:   North Broadway (both the east and the west curb lanes, from Montrose to Wilson); West Montrose (both the north and south curb lanes from Broadway to Clark) and North Sheridan Road (both the east and the west curb lanes, from Montrose to Sunnyside).

awesome, this will be my first pride parade.

I was down there last year for a photo session last time but couldn't stay, I'll have to make a point to go this year for sure.

Actually I was checking and it's scheduled for the last Sunday in June, that would be the 30th this year.

I think I may go. I've never done it before.

pride is approaching rapidly, kinda nervous, this will be an interesting adventure for sure. 

I'm sad i'm not going to be able to make it yet again this year.  I'm going to have to work the weekend straight though.  But granted since it's wedding season and I'm a photographer I guess that's to be expected.

I worked in a restaurant on Broadway when I was living there so on that day I was right in the middle of all the actions. I remembered it was so much fun.

Oddly, I'm not feeling very enthusiastic about this.

I was just in Chicago on a business trip.  The group I swam with while I was there (Chicago Smelts, Lesbian / Gay masters swim club) was talking about the parade.  Unfortunately I am now out of the Chicago area, so I most likely won't be able to attend.
