Kia Ora,

Well for me, life is now sweet, however I did hit a few rough spots along the way, ie, suicide attempts, hospitalisation, psyche wards, marriage break up, divorce, but nowhere near as rough as some members have had/are having it...In fact I would say my life's journey has been a walk in the park compared to some...

I guess this post/poll is about the possible "Lights at the end of the tunnels" so please feel free to share your past good or bad experiences...

BTW it can be quite therapeutic to do so...

I think I made the most of what I had. I still don't know if my fish-out-of-water feelings were due to being trans or the fact that I don't naturally fit in socially.

No, not out of choice. Low emotional IQ. Trouble figuring out what were and weren't appropriate responses and approaches. Something I still struggle with.

I was an angry beast before transition and finding a beer more often than I felt I should.

Next to my SO, transition is the best thing that has happened to me.  The world gets me better and I feel like I fit into it.  I have job oppertunities and I'm able to seal the deal now.  Though the biggest test is Friday...

I'm social.  I say yes to do new things.  I live.  It's wonderful.
