I get so nervous when typing out "man" or "mam" to someone because one typo can lead to me being banned.  If I accidently say "mam" when referrfing to a guy....ban.  If I accidently say "man" when I meant "mam"....I get reported for "transphobic and abusive" language and boom....a ban.  The best thing would be to not say man or mam but I feel adding that would make my statement a bit more personal.  If I'm not sure how someone identifies then I use gender neutral terms, with the still-high risk of someone being offended and reporting me.

Yes, sometimes it is hard, but everyone who knows you here knows you'd never misgender someone on purpose. Mistakes happen, we move on.

I'm learning ASL so I have to watch someone signing and then write down what they are saying.  My brain is about to explode.

Lengthen "mam" to "ma'am". That will lessen the chance of an errant key press.

On a side note: Sometimes, Malachite, I just want to hug you. You're sweet without realising it and that makes it all the more endearing.

That's what I'm hoping for, that people will know that I just did it on accident and I would modify the post immediately if I didn't catch the mistake.

More power to you for using dear.  I'd feel a bit awkward calling everyone that lol.  It reminds me of "be a dear and (insert favor) would you?"

Wow I never thought about ma'am.  That makes much more sense.  I got to get used to typing it.

I've been playing Star Trek online recently. and it's not a mission here or there. it's all day and into the wee hours of the morning. I think I'm pretty depressed, more so than I imagined. Star Trek and model kits used to be my escape from my dysphoria but it could also be the same for my depression too. The other day I was looking at Star Trek model kits online actually and really wanted to build one. It's been 13 years since I built one.

Still, I hate being unemployed, I hate that I am dependent on medication for my sanity and well being and it irks me that I can't afford an orchi or get SRS so I don't have to take spiro, which is so much more expensive than E.

While channel surfing, I saw that Love Actually was coming on on Sundance, so I'm watching it again. I still think its one of the best romantic comedies I've seen yet. Thing will make you cry a number of times throughout it, both happy and sad.

Being an outgoing person and open to conversations with new people has always worked for me. Can't beat networking when it comes to jobs and other opportunities either. Being quiet and mousey around others is a bummer and leads to nowhere fast!
