I was trying to write a construcive review for a fanfic of someones but mother came in with food and I had to cut up A LOT of celery that took me about two hours and my laptop seems to die quicker and shuts down with no battery warning anymore....wtf.

I don't even feel like finishing the review but I am going to do so.  They posted their first chapter on the same day I did mine (actually I posted after them without knowing) but it's my favorite yuri pairing which is hard to find stories with them in it anymore.  It is my duty to review because as a writer myself, I know that the reviews I get from my fans keep me going. I just hope they don't take the criticism too harshly since I'm only trying to help.

What's your favorite pairing?

Reading about bacon has made me hungry.  Why hasn't anyone invented a bacon-wrapped-hot-dog corn dog.  I think I can make a lot of money with that idea.  Nobody steal it!  Please.  :-*

I live in Iowa.  I guarantee that someone here has thought of that.

No worries Kristal. I don't like bacon either and find the smell of pork cooking to be nauseating.  In fact, I was in my forties before I found out that people think KFC has an appetizing smell, to me, it is worse than the paper mills.  To each their own.

Fun fact! Cooking pork smells exactly like cooking human. And I do mean EXACTLY.

I have a strange definition of the word fun...

I could go for some human bacon.  As long as no humans were harmed solely for the purpose of consumption and it went along with the wishes of the person being consumed.

H X M is a great pairing! When it comes to yaoi there isn't many pairings I don't like in the DBZ and Yugioh fandom.

I like the old hershey's cookies and cream wrappers much better.

I made a vlog for myself, and I noticed when I get into "theory mode" I use waaaay more feminine voice cues. And it offsets a lot of my voice deepening from T. I can see some people reading it as a female voice, especially when I am say, teaching because again I use my "theory mode" voice.

So yeah. I need to do some work on it. Problem is, I don't know where to start. I get less forceful in my speech when I am "thinking", because I am posing questions - so I have that "questioning" inflection that is associated with women's voices. That would probably be the best place to start. I could do that in my classes by preparing far enough in advance that I say things as if they are being asked more authoritatively. Chances are that would solve the lack of monotone too, because I only really raise my voice when I am questioning.

And those goddamn S's.

Can't you report him through the system for being underage for the game? Or gun him down in cold blood?

I can't report him for being underage.  I thought about gunning him down but we decided to rob a few stores, only I died so many times.  I hate how most players are trying to kill me when I'm just walking lol.

8) Yeah because that's how I roll, Trista.  Gunning down fools and robbing stores is my specialty....or at least it will be when I quit getting shot up all the time with half my money lost.

So many cis women speak from high in their throat rather than from their chest or diaphragm and with every sentence having a question mark at the end of it. If you can avoid that tendency then the rest should fall into place. You might even pose a question in the same manner as if it was a fact, try it and see how that works for you. Another thing is that those high squeeky voices that I'm referring to are sometimes even put on as if they are trying to emulate Kim K whom I loathe and so I find it extremely irritating on a personal level.  :icon_ballbounce:

I think I will. The good news is that for me, it just requires being a bit more selective in what I share academically. I'm used to sort of diving into discussions unprepared and tossing around ideas (hence, the tendency to sound questioning - not that I am lacking confidence in my knowledge, I just pose questions to keep the topic going). So I think if I just prepare some things and keep them in mind, I can limit the "questioning" sounds.

My room looks like a tornado went through it...minus the damaged walls and furniture. -_- I set a 5 minute timer and just forced myself to clear out as much of a large area as possible in the 5 minute time frame. Worked well enough but there's probably going to be a few more installments of 5 minute speed cleanings. My short attention span is starting to worry me. When I was young, I could concentrate on anything for hours - even the most rote, mundane things imaginable. I just got sucked in. Now, it's all I can do to stay focussed long enough to even brush my teeth.

The gnomes do it? I always blamed the brownies and the dryer for my missing socks, maybe there are sock gnomes too.

I have looked all over this apartment and I still can't find it. How do you lose something that you never take out the apartment? And HOW can you not find it when you have looked all over the place? Even in places that you KNOW it isn't going to be in just to make sure?

AAAAARRRRGGGHHH!!

Get a desk fan, run it all over your apartment. With any luck the movement of air will cause the harmonica to make a noise. ;D

Either that or wait a few days, offer up a prayer to the "Sprites of Serendipity", and watch as it turns up when you're right in the middle of looking for something else.
